you can recover data you either have to have the encryption centrally managed or create a recovery key before the drive crashes. If you don't have an encrypted key for it then what's the point of encrypting the drive if any joe schmo can access the drive if you loose it?

this is kinda the point of disk encryption dude... keep the files locked away from the bad guy... If this is a personal computer then Bitlocker is fine, If this is going to be more of a corporate managed machine, you can go with McAfee End Point Encryption, Credant Manager, Credant Shield, DDPE (Dell's software based disk encryption), Sophos was mentioned, TrueCrypt... you should stay away from the cheap encryption "freeware" type of products just out of security reasons.

I have a 55k BTU Kerosene / diesel torpedo heater... 75 bucks... worked great last winter, have not turned it on this year.

what we did was put in drywall (you will need to put in more support) and then put insulation boards on top of that... now it stays warm in there when we turn on the heater. it wasn't cheap but wasn't too bad, what's the size of the building?

save your money and just hire an exterminator... after 3 days in a hotel, foggers, purchasing a new vacuum, new wet/dry vacuum, making a mess in my house, etc.... it would have been cheaper and less of a headache to just pay the $175 that Orkan is charging to come out tomorrow and handle the pest problem.

funny part is, I have 2 of these jacks... this exact jack and the longer low profile jack with a foot pump as well as a craftsman jack... the craftsman leaks like a mother fucker, both harbor freight jacks just keep going (they squeek a little, but no leaks)

I might have to try that if the diatomous earth doesn't do the trick... Yesterday I fogged again, then sprayed down that Knockout spray everywhere, then covered my house with diatomeous earth... by the end of the procedure where I had fleas on my socks just from walking around, I had none, but we will see if that lasts, we are staying at a hotel for the next few days allowing the diatomeus earth to do it's job and kill those little fuckers good.

what are you planning to do with it? I haven't used my CD Rom drive in years.

we used the knockout spray along with foggers on saturday... didn't even put a dent in the fuckers! I picked up diatomeaus earth and I'm going to vacuum the hell out of the house tomorrow again and then put it everywhere... then leave the house for a few days and hope for the best... I will also spray some of the flea spray that has the growth hormone first to hopefully stop eggs and larve.

we used diatomaceous earth before, wife is worried about what she read about them being problems inhaling even though as long as you get food grade, there's no issues... she's a bit OCD so she just doesn't get it.
