kind of on the tipping topic, how does everyone feel about tipping other people... aka, door men, barbers, taxi drivers, bell boys for hotels that won't let you use their carts and force you to use their service?
I normally tip 2-3 dollars (although I normally get my happy ass up and go pick it up), but I tipped the guy 5 dollars tonight and he acted like I gave him a 100 dollar bill... he had the pizza to me within 20 minutes of me ordering it and I felt it was justified.
I'm looking to build a theatre room in my basement and start framing a few rooms... I have all the material for it, I just need another set of hands... no set time in mind to do this. anyone want to make a few bucks and come out and help me do some framing?
+1
My house is 3 years old, runs all electric including the heat pump... my house is 4,800 sq feet and it heats the house just fine...I do admit that sometimes it doesn't feel as warm as my old house that was gas heating, but living out in the middle of no where... electric is much cheaper than propane heating. I think this house just feels "colder" sometimes because I have high ceilings and heat rises.
I'm going to have to try the humidifier idea though... I'll have to look to see if they make one that can tie into the heat pump or ventilation somehow.
I'm going to be honest, I purchased a Chicago Electric 10inch sliding miter saw for 89 scooby snacks and it's been great. I've cut quite a bit of wood with it and it's taken a beating and has never missed a beat. I also have a Kobalt 10 inch non sliding and that has worked very well as well which I paid a lot more for. I would go with one of these 2.
I would recommend installing an electric winch on it for the plow instead of the manual.. one can be had for 50 bucks at Harbor Freight... BTW, quad with a plow is great... I use it to plow our driveway and the neighbors... I can knock out driveways with a quickness and I live in BFE, so we all have long driveways.
Any luck on getting this done?
I'm in the same situation.. I've never done it before and would love to have someone look over my shoulder of if dealerships do it, what dealership is preferred? I'm storing mine under my lean too so I'd really like to get it winterized before shit starts to break.
