  1. yeah its leaning out under boost and breaks up. just the strangest thing, I have been having a blast with no problems since the early summer really and all the sudden...bam
  2. I feel pretty good about an a4. if the car ever gets modded its getting a turbo. And ill never buy another manual trans turbo car. But whatever I find clean and in my budget is what i will get.

  6. I know I know, we dont need another fbody here on the forum but I found a very clean (by pics) 4th gen trans am. Its a 100% bone stock A4 car. the car has just a touch over 100,000 miles and by talking to the owner, it has no issues. Now I know a little about the LS platform but not alot about Fbody stuff. What should I be looking at for common stuff on Fbodies around the 100k mark. Ill bring my scanner and check for faults and do the typical look over. Just was not sure if there are some real important stuff to check that typically needs attention. Its going to be a bone stock driver
  7. id go with the jegs brand gauges, ive used them before with success and im sure autometer or someone good makes them. I usually use autometer gauges cause im cheap and they work ok. and I use an innovate wideband. if I ever strike it rich im going with a race pak dash
  8. well damn...since you say it will stick im going to turn the boost up another 6-7 lbs to 20 and let her rip off the 2 step at 10lbs of boost

  10. im pretty excited too, just glanced at the weather...its all over the place on temp but there has been no speculation for any rain really so thats great. I have these new afcos on board so just would love to get some short hits to try and dial them in
  11. jc radiator is the only place i know but how expensive of a core do you have, if its not custom just get a new one. If its an aluminum core and its just an endtank then im sure someone on here will pipe up who can tig.
  12. If its your livelihood buy once and be done. Its a bunch of change but I thought of it as college tuition for me, and ill have my set of tools for life and if I ever have a kid they will be his someday. I tuned a wrench to pay the bills for damn near 10 years and went through 3 boxes. Started with a craftsman roller,intermediate,top chest and two lockers. Then went to a triple bank snap on and finally bought a double bank snap on with suspension. For what the box sells for I got a good deal. But its still super expensive.

  14. fast is relative to what you know. I typically dont like talking cars to anyone unless they are somewhat in the know. I get into a bunch of technical talk and sometimes look at them and can tell they have not a single clue what I am talking about even though I think the language is pretty universal. Hell sometimes a person will see my car ask how much hp and ill throw out the number and they will kind of shrug it off like it aint shit...lol
