  1. well update me again. shitty ass trails, left on 4-5 lbs boost and went sideways for the first 100-130ft straight towards the center line. went 9.80@145 TurboNova 9.80@145.33 1.61 60' 10-21-12--72 Nova--turbo http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/20121021_165024.jpg
  2. yeah I only made a few passes and I am sure if I could of 60 footed the car it would of been different. Will see tomorrow when I leave on the brake who the track surface is.
  3. granted I stayed in the left lane the entire track day and I was not launching the car but had no problem bringing the boost in and going 147 that day

  5. no they dont take pics. good luck trying to fight that though, its common practice for parking violation to ding you for even the smallest stuff if your car is parked legit. Its happened to me before.
  6. Big Thanks to Nighthawk Ill be there as long as the weather is good.
  7. Ill be loading my junk and hauling it over this weekend. Id like to go this weekend and next and finish up with track day in a perfect weather world.
  8. thanks sam, I brought it home and took a lap around the hood.
  9. good to know ray, I have my qa1 singles about 3 clicks from the tightest setting and have not messed with the limiters in my trz arms. I will install the rears per afco's baseline settings and keep the fronts tight and see what it does this weekend on the brake.
  10. pm sent to sam about small pit bike. Let me know
  11. Spent a couple bucks today and stepped it up to some afco double adjustable to get rid of my 3 ways out back. Gonna install them tomorrow, they are just so beautiful. Currently saving my pennies and nickles to do the same upfront. Changing to afco double adjustable bnc shocks and going back to a coil spring. http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/20121018_153139.jpg
  12. If anyone wants to sell their spot let me know, I made some room and can make it to the event...but its now sold out

lol I have been for a while. I also agree its not a replacement for gasoline but It is a good supplement. Big oil hates ethanol with a passion.

well said, I myself am excited to see e15 being rolled out. Greenshift has a patent for equipment that is now being used to extract corn oil for ethanol production.

Most stations never switch, have talked to guys who tested speedway fuel dead winter and its still 85% or better
  16. thanks! 275 dr, I have had no traction issues yet just launching on no boost and it does not come in until 120-140ft out. so my 60ft sucks but still mph close to 150. I do however expect taction issues now that I will be launching on the brake with boost.
  17. yeah we will see, Im not going to say an exact number so there is no disapointment. I do know that when I was at the track for 1/8 mile at 120 per the conversion that was on point to go 150 footbraking it. So I am looking forward to seeing it with boost off the line and shaving my 2.0second 60 ft down. I know my single adjustable front shocks and 3 way rears will be my weak point now. I ordered a set of AFCO double adjustable rear shocks but wont have them installed this year. Ill probably have to weld in a upper shock mounting bar between the frame rails and mount the shocks inboard the AFCO bodies are huge. I think my end goal for the car would be 8.50's@160-165...I may take some time but id like to get there I am contemplating getting rid of my QA1 single adjustable coil overs in favor of going back to a coil spring and AFCO Double Adjustables up front. I hate spending 1500 in shocks but, I really would like to control rebound and compression
  18. yeah same to you... thanks for giving me that push to hook up the 2step/trans brake.
  19. Well last night I went ahead and wired up the trans brake and the 2 step, I set it to 3400 and this morning went out and switched it on and built 5lbs with ease on the wastegate spring with no c02. I released it and of course it blew the tires off but it was cool to see it work and I am looking forward to this sunday if weather holds to get it into the 9s.
  20. was watching that last night in disbelief, cant even imagine driving those fuckers for that distance and how they went down roads with potholes and even driving in the rain... crazy
