    Fuck them.

Don't hold it back, say what you really mean about them, LOL.

IF that is the case, why the hell do I own a 7. Does explain the win/lose ratio.

    Greg,

    What are IMRC's

    Thanks in advance

  4. I am somewhat impressed that someone put that much engineering into that. However, if I ever feel the need to bong a beer, I will just use the traditional way. In which I do beleive everyone here know which way that is.

  5. AHHHH, Either I have been wrong for a while or the the termonology you are using is wrong. Either way, I will try to give my input.

The runners are actually strech of metal that connects the intake manifold and the heads. I can't think of the actual name of the plate that sit in the "secondary" intake runner. Regardless, it has a actuator on it tells it when to open and shut. It is closed at low rpm to create more torque and so the engine isn't overwhelmed with so much air it would bog. Then it opens up at a high rpm under many condtions to create more top-end. It is kinda like VTEC, however vtec does it with a Third cam lobe, Nevertheless it works off of the same pricipals.

Please, I am more of a rotary man, I am just now learning pistons, so please if I am wrong, please correct me.

To remedy this issue, it is probably a simple fix really. Is all 4 of those plates always closed or just one or two? If it is just one or two I would say the actuators themselve could be bad, or you have a bad vac job, and just replace with some silicone vac lines. Now if all plates are shut, this may be a little more hard to track down the grimlin. Check if all the these vac lines came fromt he same source, if so, check that out. It also may be an electical issue. You might have a electronic one-way chack valve, or a three way solenoid. I can't think of the actualy term on it either, man I suck today. Nevertheless, the FD has a few of these, 7-8 I do beleive and it is how it controls the twin turbo. There is a chance you have something similiar to control these plates in your runners.

  6. Wrapping the "header" will decrease spool up time. Physics really, keeps heat in. Since a turbo is spooled up more by egt than actual pressure (catch 22 really), the heat decrease spool up time. Why else would a little 1.3 litre like a rotary spool up a hefty Greddy T-78 by 3300 rpm's. It is becuase the EGT's on a rotary are high 800/low 900 degree's Celsius.

Imo, wrapping the downpipe will only decrease the underhood temps, therefore keeping the air SLIGHTLY denser.

A customer of ours actually wanted us to "wrap" everything. So we did, on the bottom side of his LIM and UIM have "blankets" adhered to them.

  7. Nice numbers, I can't beleive how much more torque it makes over hp. Again nice numbers.

Here in Marion, there is local guys with some homemade goodies on it. Homemade propane injection, homemade water/meth injection, and just some good ol' nitrous.

He made 360.x whp and 427.x wtorque, that is nutty.

  8. FUCK, SHIT, DAMNIT!!! I wonder if they will refund my money? I was going for the compound forced induction thing. Single turbo and a blower. God damn scams.

I do hope you guys know I am only joking.

    Thanks for the warning Desperado!

  9. Something you do not like or apreciate. A 1993 Mazda rx-7. All I was saying is that many of the racers on this forum are not n/a. Many are boosted and many are spray. That is all.

  10. I have yet to view it, a few of my friends said it was cool, then they told me about it. I must say it doesn't seem all that apealing to me, but to each their own correct?

+1, how gay is that? Invite people out that "survive" off of spray and boost, I bet you will get many people off of this forum!!
