He might need an adjustable master cylinder or may need to shim it. Could have some air in the line - may self adjust if he drives it a while. Got to love hydraulics huh?

Any rating I should look for? Just DOT-approved or do I need something more? Again I have seen where I can spend a ton here but I think it is unecessary but I want to be safe at the same time. I don't anticipate anything but you just never know!

No spray yet - low 12s at 116 for now. High 11s and 120+ in the next year. I do not plan on going much faster than that anytime soon.

My youngest daughter used the seat belt guide as a handle to get out of the back of my T/A - it didn't work well. It broke now I need a new one. Anyone know where I can pick one of these up online?

What should I look for in a helmet for drag racing? Just DOT approved? It is amazing the range of prices. I do not want to spend too much as I only race about 2x a year but I want to be safe.

I am sorry to hear that. Be safe - our prayers are with you and your family.

LOL, you'd better be. Maybe you really didn't read the story about my race with the Z06 that makes more power than you. You know that Z06, the car that is lighter and makes more power than your car? Do the math, I'd be worried...
I read it - I have also messed around with a couple of cars on here with a lot more power on the highway and hung in a lot better than I thought. I can't make the CR drag day due to my new job but will be at the "End of Summer" drag race next Sunday put on by Dayton F-body - bring it on!

I went - fell in love with a 1995 Corvette ZR1 in yellow - 22 miles.

So much for leaving it stock eh??

I am just speechless.
I wonder if I can start a new website - http://www.marrymywife.com - now I am on to something.

Congrats. So that means you want some toys for the Suburban now right?
Get ya a matching Corsa on it
No - no toys for the Suburban. Wifey need it to get her from point a to point b and pull our trailer - that is all.
-
Congrats Casey!
FYI, mod your car a whole bunch. You don't make enough power right now to beat a certain Cobra...
Did you put the pulley on? If not I am not scared.

You and I do have some business to take care of don't we?

Unemployment sucks, its probably the most depressing situation I've ever had to go through.
Would not wish it on anyone. I had trouble going out in public.
-
Lol.

where did you work? Westerville (mccoy/brooksedge), easton, polaris? The bottom jobs do suck ass. I was lucky enough to come into a pretty good starting position at JPMC I like it thusfar.
From what I have heard from people that I know that work there the entry level jobs (there are many of them) suck. However, if you hang in there and move up the ladder it gets much better.

Nice. At your level, I"m sure you'll be doing fine. Chase isn't a bad place to work. The bottom jobs suck ass, but I'm sure the upper ones are nice enough .
That's what I am hoping.

What's the job title? And what will you be doing? I know a handful of techs over at the Easton office. I'll have to tell the manager to f' up your laptop when you get it.. lol.

Found the job on their career board on line.
I applied on line - found someone that worked there - got the recruiter's number - called them directly.
Nice thing is the person I contacted is getting a $5K bonus. She said she will split it with me - if she does that would be nice!
-
Nice job on the..uh..job find...blower perhaps?
Need a rear end first - cannot plant the power it has yet. I will start there. I have some catching up to do - some financial goals I would like to accomplish over the next 6 months - then I will get serious. I don't think it will be forced induction - you can accomplish a lot with good heads.
-
have fun in that dump I hated that place.. I worked for one day and quit. But hey it's a paycheck I guess.
Where did you work - what department? I am going to assume sales or "customer support". I have heard a lot of bad stories about those positions.

congrats! Nice way to begin the upcoming weekend.
No freakin doubt.
