I have State Farm and when it is not being driven I just drop the coverage to just the comprehensive. Is that not an option for you? It only costs me like 10-15 per month while in storage?

The vette wouldn't have a chance if they went from a dig... that's the only reason they go from a roll .

My wife picked me up a clutch for X-mas - has anyone had any luck with a Centerforce Dual Friction clutch? I know everyone here likes Cartek or Textralia but frankly I cannot justify dropping 1000 on a clutch right now. My car is driven 95% on the street so that is the most important. I like to take it to the track a few times a year. Any good/bad experiences with this clutch. The guy at Jeg's that sold it to my wife was apparently a huge fan of their clutches. I checked LS1Tech and it seems there are not many stories about them at all.

 

I was planning on going with the LS7 clutch but the added need of a new flywheel pushes the price up.

The Steelers will not make the playoffs but it is not Ben's fault. No consistent running game, no consistent line play, dropped / tipped passes by young receivers, etc. He has definitely made some bad throws, usually when trying too hard to make a play. He will also not get sacked more than 3 times this weekend. You clearly have not seen them play much this year. The Steelers made an adjustment to their blocking scheme after the Ravens smacked them around. On passing downs Najeh Davenport has been inserted as the TB - he weighs 250 lbs and can take on a LB - something Willie Parker has shown he cannot do.

The Honda S2000 is about 6,000 more than a Sky 0- it better seem a lot nicer!

 

The Redline version of the Sky will definitely eat up some of that difference but the S2000 is still a more expensive car by a few thousand dollars.

 

That being said I will throw my vote in for a GTO or an Infiniti G35 coupe. I think the G35 is one of the best looking cars on the road.

You are looking at 16-18K for a Trans Am WS6. The Z28 and SS's can be had for 12-14K. There are deals out there of course but that is what they seem to be going for now. You could probably get a really good deal this time of year on one.

I love the RS4 but the price is rediculous. I would rather have a CTS-V. It is not as classy or as well built but at 53K it is 20K cheaper. IMO the Audi is not 20K better.

What color is your RX7? I saw a very nice black RX7 a couple of times on Polaris on Wednesday or Friday (can't remember which). It looked like there was a nice WRX following.

 

Anytime I see a nice car out and running around I always wonder if they are on here.

USC is definitely worthy of taking on the Bucks in the National Championship game. It would be great to see OSU drag the USC defense up and down the field.

After owning an LS1 and now a Cobra I must say...

 

You'll miss it. My Cobra is better on almost all facets than my LS1 ever was, except gas mileage. But who cares about that? Or maybe you won't miss it, I don't know. I happen to enjoy my 433 RWHP / 402 RWTQ with just a CAI and catback. But have fun with the LS1...

 

I rode in Sean's - it is very nice and I could certainly drive one without a problem. I just hate the dashboard and the controls on it. The seats are nice however. I prefer the looks of the F-body but that is simply personal taste.

Congrats - I love mine. They respond so well to simple mods. (Not as well as say, an 03 or 04 Cobra - lol).

Dude, if you are shooting for 9's then go auto. There is only so fast you can go with a 6 speed and a clutch. I am not saying you cant run 9's but it is way easier to do it with the auto. Unless you plan on runnin straight cut gears, stick with an auto.

He does not hit 9s in this one but he has made it into the 9s on this set up. I looked over on LS1Tech and it becomes apparent there are not many 9 sefc cars there running 6 speeds.

I just had my Trans Am's windows tinted at Quality Window Tint on Morse Rd. I have always been happy with their work (4 cars done by them) but I am blown away this time. They did the rear hatch in 1 piece - no seams. For those of you that are not familiar with an F-Body's rear hatch take a look the next time you see one. I cannot even clean the inside of the damn hatch let alone lay down some tint. Most dealers will do the rear hatch in 2 or even 3 pieces. Bravo - I will never go anywhere else.

All Fords do that....it's normal.

Sounds like you have a boatload of problems there. I would start with the smoke. What is strange is it is in the cabin. I would have your exhaust checked - it could be dangerous if it is pumping that stuff right into the cabin.
