  1. Keep an eye out for a dark red Camaro SS vert in the spring - I hear he will answer you.
  2. I saw a clip on FB that compared V8s revving at each other across an intersection to a Rick Flair woo-off. Wish I could find it.
  3. It's even better when they are going the other direction. My wife always says "Was that rev for you?"....yes
  4. Yeah the story I read said the helicopter was forced to land by a missile hit and then destroyed by a TOW missile.
  5. I read that a rescue helicopter dispatched to look for the pilots by Russia was shot down by rebels with a US-made TOW missile. I have not seen that on a "reputable" site yet though.
  6. Ohio State has to be trolling us with this offense...

  8. If we need to explain to you why they weigh more now perhaps you are on the wrong site Everything I have read has said 3700 pounds in the ATSv. The key is they want it to be a luxury car that can shred the track at the same time. That takes a lot of chassis stiffening and equipment (huge breaks, special dampers, etc). Tack on all of the electronics we cannot do without and all of the safety equipment and I think they did well on weight. Looks at the lateral g and slalom times the ATSv and Camaro are putting up - they are crazy.
  9. Only one you mention that I agree with is the CTSv but it has become a large car. The ATS is 3400-3500 in normal form - 3700 in full V form with the upgraded wheels, body package, brakes and motor. That is not a heavy sedan (note that it is lighter than the Mustang too). The Vette is 3500-3600 pounds in fully loaded Z06 trim. What should it way in your opinion?
  10. I just like how those who have bashed GM on the weight of their cars are blind to the fact that the Mustang actually weighs more now. Across the board GM has taken weight out of their cars (way past due in my opinion) and that fact seems to be overlooked right now. I am loving what they are doing - this will push Ford to step up again and that is good for everyone. On a related note, did you see the weight on the coming 2.0t? I,for one, require a V8 in this type of car but a turbo 4 powered, 3400 pound, rear drive coupe would be a great starting point for a fun car.
  11. And maybe some stands so you could watch the action live?
  12. His 2005 has a speedometer that does not work...clearly impacted by the trouble you highlight.
  13. I had a 2002 Z71 Suburban and it was absolutely trouble free for 120k miles I had it - dude bought it from me and has but another 50k trouble free on it. My buddy has a 2005 and has had all sorts of trouble. I think there was a "refresh" in 2005.
  14. It's too bad we don't know how Elliott would fare against and awesome Dline like Alabama's....wait a minute.,.
  15. I am not in love with the styling - at least not yet but this one looked nice I think.,, http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/11/06/b84498c3a47699bb58f68eac578e19fc.jpg
  16. So angry...... I am going to try to make it to a track rental next year and would be happy to line them up. Although that would prove whether a heavily modded 2011 Camaro is faster than a 2015 Mustang or not. It would not say anything about the topic of this thread which is 2016 Camaro versus the 2015 Mustang.
  17. So why did you post it? The 2016 SS in the link I provided ran a 0-60 in 4.0 seconds and the 1/4 mile in 12.3 at 116. It is a half second faster than the GT in both measures and is pulling away in the quarter. Based on the review, the Camaro will put even more distance on the Mustang on a road course. I cannot wait to drive one - though I will be sticking with the 2011 for a while. We live in the golden age of perf cars.

  19. As an admitted Steelers fan, I just do not think Dalton is good enough to take them all the way. They have amazing talent across the board but you could see Bad Andy coming out against the Steelers. The Steelers have given up a ton of yards to almost everyone but the Bengals could not move the ball. That game could have easily gone the other way which should not be the case as I think the Bengals are better almost everywhere else but QB. Big Ben at 65% and losing Bell and the Steelers were still almost good enough to win that game
  20. I just wanted to hear it again.... I am sure he is a cool dude and all but 30 seconds of a walkaround and 30 seconds of idle/rev would be 4 stars .
