  1. We'll see how the roads are tomorrow. I still need to get the CtSv in for an alignment.
  2. I have 4 you can borrow if you don't need them permanently
  3. Pizza is like sex, even when it is bad it is pretty good. That being said, I like Flyers' "Bomber" pizza.
  4. Only the 2nd gen (2009 up) comes in an auto FYI
  5. First off, I am biased, I love mine as much as Jones loves his Audis. However, that being said, I would drive a G8 but really wanted a manual tranny and did not feel like looking for the GXP unicorn. The CTSv is a considerably smaller car. As far as reliability, there are a couple of common issues on a v...motor mounts, differential bushing, and the "weak" rear end. The rear end will asplode with wheel hop. If you want a drag car neither will fit the bill well in my mind. The v strikes a great balance between good ride and good handling. They are not simple to lower due to the auto leveling shocks on the rear but, in my mind, they sit pretty low stock (shut up farkas). Long and short of it, I don't think you can go wrong.
  6. I had Clear and it was awful. To be fair I was on the edge of their coverage.
  7. 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 - A- (out of boost), D (in boost) 2002 WS6 - C - handled well but did not want to 2009 Volvo C70 - C+ - better than I expected 2005 Cadillac CTSv - B - good blend of sport / luxury 2002 Suburban Z71 - N/A - it has no steering feel
  8. For comparison a first gen CTSv weighs 3850, a second gen weighs 4250. This car will be nearly 1000 pounds less. A new SHO weighs nearly 4400 pounds...
  9. If this car weighs under 3500 as expected it should be awesome. The ATS target was 3300 pounds, they missed by 100 apparently. How can anyone on this supposed car board gripe about a sedan that weighs less than 3500, has 350 plus hp, is RWD and offers a manual? Because CR.
  10. This did not turn out well last time
  11. I see what you did there
  12. Agree on the 6 spd but expect to pay more and look harder. Good ones are not easy to find. If you decide to take it to the track be prepared to get raped by auto Fbodies with aftermarket converters :-) A friend of mine had an auto with similar mods as mine.... He put down 30 to 40 less RWHP and trapped 6-7 mph less but consistently beat me by .3 to .4 ET. Back on topic, I have never had a more reliable car. Like scott said, if the car is not right you should hear or see it on these!
  13. When the car requires a parachute I give them a pass.
  14. Lustalbert, I almost bought an 07 in that color, but really wanted black. So is there a way to prevent the wiring harness issue? Have you done the motor mounts? While I have only had it a month, this car is easily my favorite of all the ones I have owned.
  15. No, I knew this. However, being raised in Hawaii, going to private college prep academy, attending Columbia University and finishing at Harvard does not sound average to me. You? In the end, these guys are simply not like you and me. I am not sure we want an average joe as a president anyway.
  16. When was Obama "average to lower income"? Neither of these guys knows the plight of the common man from personal experience no matter what they try to sell you.
  17. I can pick up the parts for 150-200 but I am not sure I want to tackle the install. Anyone interested? Cost?
  18. Hey you young whipper snappers, get off my lawn!
  19. Congrats man! Raising kids is such an amazing adventure!
  20. Wife's 2009 Volvo C70 http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v96/casey02ws6/VolvoC70-2.jpg
  21. Yep Fremont. Now I have a dilemma. I waxed it up this evening and I am starting to think this thing is too nice for a daily. I may end up parking it for the winter. We will have to see. I did not plan on it but I am thrilled with the quality of the paint.
