  1. sometimes they don't throw switching codes but if you have a monitor program they can catch it if they are weak

  3. They do training, Tom is a good dude. Go to their website for contact info.
  4. I heard it puts out a lot of gas though......
  5. I read elsewhere that the class 10 cards have good sequential rates, but class2 may have better random rates, which is what a camera needs. Anyone have any more info on this?
  6. Didn't know steve's had a forum, good info, thanks!!
  7. Good advise here. My $0.02, the two biggest factors i've found are credit history and balance to limit ratio. Also, having SOME liquid assets helps out a ton also but you can get around that.
  8. I think it may be in the camera also, but have no way to confirm it without having a known good card to try.
  9. I have a T1i (ok, the wife does) and I've purchased MANY MANY "class 10" memory cards, but they all don't seem to perform very well. After a few snaps (50-100) they get unbelievably slow to the point you need to wait 10-30 seconds between pictures. I've tried formatting them in the camera as many others have suggested. I've tried many different manufacturers and all the class 10 cards seem to be crap. I have a class 2 and class 4 generic, and it seems to work better overall, but is consistently semi-slow snap to snap at about 2-3 seconds per pic. I ran speed tests and the class 10 cards perform on par as do the class 2 and 4 cards for their rating. I've been buying 32gb cards lately and most of the cards we have that work ok are all 8gb. Maybe a 32gb is just too big? What do you guys use size, speed and manufacturer wise and how reliable are they? Should I just get a box full of cheap 2gb cards and just change them out after 50-100 clicks?
  10. Looks slow, my jackstands vs yours... Lets lock it in.
  11. Swap injectors with another cyl and see if it follows.
  12. i'd still swap around plugs and wires too. I went through 2 sets on my wife's old trans am before I found a bad wire causing a misfire. then I found a bad plug after changing them out too.
  13. This is what I was going to suggest. Swap the #1 and #6 coil/injector and see if the problem moves. they don't
  14. Ok then, no kids but it has to be super cheap since I can't afford it. :gabe:
  15. see title, not looking to break the bank.
  16. Timkin may be made in china, but Timken is still headquartered in the USA. The Timken brand is heavily counterfeited unfortunately. The main office is in Canton. I work there, i'm part of the service group. If you have any questions, let me know.
  17. when you sell it at a crazy price, shoot me a PM. i'm sure the wife will say no unless you take at least 1 kid in trade, but hey!
  18. everyone seems to call it a galley plug, I just searched for "LS1 Crank Plug" and went from there. ;-)
  19. Few minutes on google yielded this: http://www.ls1gto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=368391
  20. These ^ We got our current place and we "settled" on it. Wasn't what we wanted, but we thought we'd upgrade/add later or just sell and buy better. That has yet to happen. Get as close as you can to what you want up front.
