We are replacing my wife's Ford Escape with the 2013 Malibu ECO. She likes it, it'll get groceries like nobodies business and drop the kids off at daycare like a bawce. For the price we paid and what we got in trade on her escape, i'm happy as hell with it. Does it perform like a Camaro SS? Hell no.... Does it have the same space as our Minivan? Hell no.... But we have the minivan too so why get a giant car or other gas guzzling pile if we don't need it. Most of the reviews that hate it, the people don't own one. Most of the reviews that are good, the people do own one. Is it perfect? Nothing ever is.

You can use the manual switch on the DBW cars too, if you take the time to mount it so the pedal itself hits it. I've done it before. Not the easiest way, but you can make it work.

As a taller person, my camaro is way more uncomfortable than the malibu, and WAY harder to get my giant ass into and out of.

I'm 6-2 and didn't have an issue myself.

I wouldn't mind for a deal but full price? Never. Stern is on 3 days a week at most, seems like even less usually so even he isn't a draw like he used to be. Most stations are on a loop. I listen EARLY in the morning and when i'm on my way home, I can list off the songs in order since it's just on repeat. Seems like they don't change up the "loop" for about a week.

Yeah, it would be nice if they mentioned some of the stuff I found on google in the instructions. It would probably save them a lot of support grief too.

To hell with the AEM ones. Yeah, I think it's working fine but I wasn't sure. Their instructions aren't very good. It said push the button on the XD16 3 times rapidly, then once again when it flashes "cal" which I did, but it doesn't tell you that it will switch from AFR display to the alternating o2/20.8 so I thought I broke it.

I think this one is my fault. The directions I have here aren't very clear, but google's suggestions aren't much better. I'm hoping to find someone that has one working so I can compare how mine is hooked up vs. theirs and see if I did something wrong. It seems that most people get the simple LC1 with the dB gauge instead of the XD16 due to cost. Personally, I wanted the XD16 since it's rather slim and easier for me to find a place to mount it.

i've always just tossed a current plate on them and kept the bill of sale handy. As long as it's insured properly, i've never been hassled.
