  2. I didn't click the link but i'm guessing it's about the meatal finishing of the gears or whatever they call it. I understand the theory but have a hard time believing it really helps.

  6. Most synthetics can deteriorate older seals. If a seal has impregnation from natural oil, the synthetics can basically "flush" the seals away as dirt. Basically the old sludge and contamination are "holding" the seal together.
  7. Synthetic can damage seals that have only seen conventional oil. Leaking isn't the only concern, the higher lubricity can remove gunk that has been "locked away" by varnish and can cause more contamination than good.

  9. My current E-Cap is the McCord Power Plate, it's junk. Getting parts from them is nearly impossible since they never answer emails or phone calls.

  11. I've had one on my car for over 5 years, NEVER cap it and never get a ticket. I've tried just about all the E-Cutout valves and they all have failed/fallen apart on me.
