  5. i could care less about winning a drag race class. i'm on here to take part and have fun, to me compared to road racing drag racing is very boring. (IMO) but to each his own. and your right, Corvettes arn't drag cars, they just make enough horsepower to fake it.

When you guys figure out classes then enter me in what ever class I fit in The Horsepower class of less then 400 RWHP The Horsepower to weight ratio class of 8.00-9.00:1 The total money spent including mods class of less then $50,000 The I can still take a girl out without her complaining about heating/cooling, noises, ride quality , or comfort class. The still under warranty class. The I still get 30MPG highway class.
  7. and usually when that happens it becomes built for a single purpose and is useless at everything else, not all of us want a car that is only good at one thing. what we need to do is have a triathlon / decathlon. Drag Auto-x Road Race and for the equalizer you have to run the same setup on all tracks. INCLUDING TIRES.

OK then sign me up for the stock class. i'll put my stock airbox back on. my point with the "stock" thing is it's hard to tell. and my point with the classes thing is they are to broad for a large number of people to be intrested. the winner is going to be the person with the most purpose built per class or who ever has the most money invested.
  9. This is a car enthusiast forum does anyone even have a 100% stock car? and there really is no way to tell whats been done, mine could pass as 100% stock if i put the stock airbox back on.

  13. dayton credit union i'm at 4.9% and i was 19 when i bought the vette. keep in mind it's harder to get a loan for an older car then a newer one, they would not give me a loan for a supra that wasn't completely retarded. i.e. no longer then a 2 year loan and crazy intrest. i think the rule was anything older then 5 years
  14. why don't you just change the wideband settings to show the proper AFR? everytime i read your posts the AFR numbers fuck with my head. of course the conversion is correct just confusing. ok next time i wont post untill i read the entire thread..lol the main problem for me with ethanol is you burn so much more of it. on gas i can fill up drive to mid-ohio race and drive back. now if i use e-85 i wont be able to do that, i would have to take an extra gas can and thats not gonna happen.

    me and ben might show up to watch (weather depending) but i'm not running my car i'll save my money for Mid-Ohio.
