  1. This is Rob's girlfriend. Bill Meeks is an incredibly good lawyer. I am good friends with his step daughter and wife. If anyone is getting a lawyer for this, contact him. He wins every case.
  2. This sucks good luck to all of them I was in jail for 6 hours before (for speeding) and it was the worst experience ever.
  3. The official Corvette ZR1 numbers are in and they're good. Very good: • $103,300 MSRP (including $850 destination charge) • EPA-estimated fuel economy of 14 city and 20 highway • 0-60 mph in 3.4 seconds • 0-100 mph in 7.0 seconds • Quarter-mile elapsed time of 11.3 seconds at 131 mph The Corvette ZR1 also has a top speed of 205 mph (330 km/h), making it the fastest Corvette ever produced and ranking it among the global super cars of commensurate performance. None of those other super cars, however, equals the ZR1's performance-per-dollar ratio. "The ZR1 is an incredible machine by any measure," said Ed Peper, North American Vice President, Chevrolet. "There's simply no other vehicle in the world that does a better job of balancing performance, price and fuel economy." Performance perspective The Corvette ZR1's 0-60 performance is 0.3-second quicker than the already-quick Corvette Z06 and the 0-100-mph performance is nearly a full second quicker - 7 seconds vs. the Z06's 7.9 seconds. It is performance that is equal to or better than many super cars costing substantially more. "A favorable power-to-weight ratio gives the ZR1 an advantage over the competition and performance that has to be experienced to fully appreciate," said Tom Wallace, Corvette chief engineer. "Of course, on a racetrack, drivers of competitors' cars may appreciate the ZR1 in a whole different manner." And the racetrack isn't the only place where the ZR1 trumps its super-car competitors - it beats them at the gas pump, too. According to fueleconomy.gov, the ZR1's EPA-rated 14 city and 20 highway mileage ratings beat 2008 competitors such as the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano (11 city / 15 highway); the Lamborghini Murcielago (8 city / 13 highway) and the Aston Martin V8 Vantage (12 city / 19 highway). They're competitive with the Dodge Viper (13 city / 22 highway) and the Porsche 911 GT3 (15 city / 22 highway). Under the carbon-fiber hood A new LS9 6.2L supercharged small-block engine powers the ZR1's performance capability. Heavy-duty and lightweight reciprocating components support high-rpm performance, while a new, sixth-generation supercharger (and complementing charge-cooling system) helps the LS9 make big power and torque across the rpm range. The engine is hand-assembled at GM's Performance Build Center, in Wixom, Mich. In addition to the LS9 engine, the ZR1 is a technology powerhouse, designed with lightweight and unique components that reinforce its performance with a confidant feel on either a highway or road course. Options The standard ZR1 comes with accoutrements based on the Z06, including lightweight seats and lightweight content. The available uplevel interior package includes power-adjustable, heated and leather-trimmed sport seats (embroidered with the ZR1 logo); side air bags; Bose premium audio system; navigation system; Bluetooth connectivity; power telescoping steering column; custom leather-wrapped interior available in four colors and more. Chrome wheels are the only other available option on the ZR1. Detailed pricing noted below. • $103,300 Base MSRP including destination • $1,700 Gas guzzler tax • $10,000 Option package • $2,000 Chrome wheels

  12. LOL to bad we don't have any pics of the V6 Saleen we saw by shantons garage.
  13. the movie had fight club written all over it.
  14. also if they havn't fixed this yet in the new version this applies to your vehicle It appears the DSP cals were mistakenly left out of the 7.5 release. Fortunately they are still in your C:\Program Files\EFILive\V7\Calibrations\LB7 or LLY folders. Copy the DSP5 cals out of your LB7, LLY folders and paste them into C:\Program Files\EFILive\V7.5\Calibrations\LB7 or LLY
  15. first thing you want to do is read the manual then you want to spend alot of time playing and navigating your way threw the software to get used to it then you want to flash the newest firmware version into your V2 control box then you want to download the latest version to your computer then you want to set up all of your MAPs so that they are layed out exactly like the ones in the ECU then you want to log lots of stuff till you learn whats what and which PIDs you really need make sure your wideband is setup correctly make sure your BEN factor in the SAE.GENERIC folder is setup to use the correct commanded fuel PID i had to change mine from GM.AFR to GM.AFR_B also setup your Filters correctly use OR not AND example exclude data frames where the throttle moves more then 1% in 1 ms or exclude data frames of KR > 1 or exclude data frames of ECT < 180 then be aware that you can export all of the information into excel (very useful ... especially at work ) then you want to be aware that you may have to create your own PIDs like for the LS2 there is no PID for injector duty cycle so i had to make one so you want to learn how the SAE.GENERIC folder is set up and how to manipulate it (make a backup copy) speaking of backing up be aware there are EFI Live files in 2 places, in my computer and a different one that keeps track of your personal stuff in my documents most important thing is don't give up and don't think you've learned every thing the more you learn the more you realize you don't know. when you are finally ready to change stuff start with the easy stuff COTP, o2 sensors, torque management, fans. (stuff that isn't going to hurt the car) i'm not sure how accurate the Auto VE tutorial is for your setup but with the LS2 there was alot of differences from the LS1 so it took awhile for us to get it right but don't worry about driving around forever trying to fill all the cells in just do short driving at first to make sure everything is working properly MAF off LTFT STFT off, closed loop off so on so on. then you can go on the long drive. well thats all i got time for, lunch break is over. Good luck any questions just ask also Dyno Brian > me
  16. thats not the same when you build a neon it's usually for one purpose, drag only, roll only, road race only. when you have a vette it's a jack of all trades, it's good at everything drag, top end, road racing, auto-x, luxury, and it does it all with good daily drivability and gas mileage. lets take shantons car for example or anthony's old neon they both beat me from a roll, awesome good job but if you compare 2 cars you should do it in all catagories just think how long it would take them to get around mid ohio. personally i like my car to be able to do everything. i'm not saying a vette is a supercar. but honestly if you were givin $1,000,000 dollars and you had to spend it all on cars, would you spend it all on an enzo? or would you buy a ZR1 and have $900,000 left to use on other cars or toys? and the fast neons you are talking about are highly modified, imagine a highly modified ZR1 you could buy several of them for that money and have one setup for the track one for a daily and one for the strip.
  17. the first "retailable" ... that means nothing the first retailable C6 is VIN number 846 my car is VIN 171. at least it's for a good cause then leno says it's vin 001 i thought all of those stayed in the museum now. he also said 620HP which is wrong so which is it, the first ever or the first available to the public?
  18. they are affraid of the ZR1
  19. See, now if you had a vette you would be allowed to park in field and get lots of free stuff from GM and free lunch. they also have interviews. out of a room of 100 people me and austin were the only ones under 40. oh best thing was they paid for our entire weekend.
  20. that was worth getting fired for
  21. drive those cars then drive the vette, then tell me which one puts a smile on your face everytime you get in it. hell mine puts a smile on my face everytime i walk out in the garage.
