  1. I placed an order with Harbor Freight for 6 items on April 15th. I've only received 3 of the 6 items to date.... I ordered wheels on Feb 15th, the parts to build them are expected to show up on Jun 20th...
  2. Bro, someone put a "56k warning" in the title! Looks good. And yes, I quoted a ginormous pictures, just to be annoying.
  3. Talks a big game about R8s, buys a C5Z... Unsubscribed. :marc:
  4. I have a Datejust, it's not heavy, hard to read, or hard to adjust. Is it still new money if you've had one since 1999?
  5. I didn't think a manual trans could solve my issues with the car, maybe I should give it a shot and beat JP to his R8 dreams.
  6. 1) Auto-tragic 2) Felt Big /Heavy 3) Felt Slow I also drove it after I drove a McLaren MP4-12C, a prototype NSX, and my own 996TT. The R8 was my least favorite
  7. I'd build a lowrider. The C5Z is great, let me know if you want to buy it, everything is for sale...
  8. I've driven a 2014 R8 V10 Plus, didn't love it. Always liked the look and concept of owning one, but I crossed it off the list.
  9. I had a similar decision to make about 6 years ago... I bought an air-cooled 911. NO REGRETS. (also bought a LeBaron, sold a 996TT, and bought a C5Z) If I could go back, I should have stretched the budget and bought a 997 GTR3RS or a Testarossa
  10. I'd pay $100, just for a track day to happen for CR, the number of people doesn't really matter in my experience. When I ran track days, whether it was 50 or 100 people, after the first hour, the crowd really thins out and unlimited runs was possible. The only real stress point was someone breaking down and closing the track for some time, but I was lucky because that to never happened. The bigger limitation to the number runs I was getting was my own vehicle prep in between runs like checking the data logs and modding the tune, swapping out plugs, letting the car (intercooler, clutch, etc) cool down.
  11. Let's go 3 wide on 270... I want to regret buying a C5Z
  12. The cheapest used to be Gun Envy, $20 for up to 4 things in the one transaction. However, Excalibur Outdoors from Circleville bought them out. I'm headed to Alpha Star in the next week or so, but I am going to try this place next -- https://gun-mafia.com/. " We also have the best value for FFL transfers in town. Your first transfer is $20, and every other visit (2nd, 4th, 6th, etc.) is only $10. Skip the lines and save some money with the Mafia!" I stopped by to check it out with a friend a month ago, because they are an official dealer for Aero. I didn't buy anything but my friend did, easy / simple transaction. And the guys directed me to an outdoor range, which was solid advice.
  13. Long shot.... C5 Z06 + cash ?
  14. :leghump: I'm calling this car out for The Lists
  15. It has always been a struggle to get people to the track. When we hosted track days at NTR or Norwalk between ~2002-2008 with Columbus DSM and tossing the invite on CR, a few members would always front the money and risk significant losses. It always worked out with last minute sign ups and entries the day of, but it was stressful. Wagner, Keep up the good work. I had some business to take care of yesterday, otherwise I would have been there. And I'm looking forward to the upcoming track day. Suggestion - Can you also list the Year / Make / Model of the vehicles in The List? Everyone has multiple cars and it would be nice to specify what they raced.
  16. Sport or Extreme? Any drone or crazy vibrations anywhere in the rpm range? Bring it to C&C on Saturday!
  17. What exhaust is on it? I need some ideas and something for my car, because I can't hear myself honk when I'm in 3rd gear doing highway pulls. Also, I'm waiting for my car to show up on the UA Nextdoor, the next time I visit Clay. Borla. Straight. Pipes. What?
