I'm willing to do the same thing. Its not our only car, plus they're supplying me with the 05 Sebring as a rental...I'll drive it until they get the Camaro right at their expense.

yeah, i know...she's a beauty

That is exactly how I feel--it's unacceptable. Monday I will find out exactly what shop did this work...it was done here in Columbus, but I'm not sure where. I'll post a before picture. Maybe you guys can let me know if it shows enough detail to argue the front fender was not misaligned that bad before the accident. http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f318/mkent93/97%20Camaro%20Bad%20Repair/goofyamy.jpg I think the front fender is a smaller issue than the quarter panel which was actually the main panel to be repaired.

I like the car, it looks nice and clean! Also, I like the rear picture with the sky in the background, but it may have turned out better if you adjusted the white balance...I'm not sure, but it may have helped your car to not be drowned out by the sky light. I'm not expert though.

I will not state the name of the insurance company responsible for this until after they decide how to resolve the problem. The wife's camaro was rear-ended a few weeks ago. The left quarter was replaced, along with bumper and tail light. We refused to accept the car back from the other guy's insurance company after noticing how badly the panel is lined up. Apparently the frame is slightly bent because the front fender is also now out of alignment! Here is a shot from the rear looking at the seam of the hatch and quarter panel. http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f318/mkent93/97%20Camaro%20Bad%20Repair/lt_quarter_hatch.jpg A side shot of the gas lid protruding from the quarter panel. http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f318/mkent93/97%20Camaro%20Bad%20Repair/gaslid.jpg Looking down on the gas lid (the lid is closed!). http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f318/mkent93/97%20Camaro%20Bad%20Repair/down_on_gaslid.jpg The front fender sticking out compared to the door. http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f318/mkent93/97%20Camaro%20Bad%20Repair/camaro_ltfender.jpg I have a feeling insurance will try to screw us on this one. Will it help that I have pre-accident pictures of the car?

If you can get the Z06 in the background of your girls pics/videos tonight, I will be very happy. It is the girls who turn me on and the Z06 which gets me off.

I am a V8 enthusiast and I really like that car. My favorite is when they put the LX1's in the RX7's. I love the styling of those cars.

With my Z being parked in a garage 80 miles from here, i'm starting to miss working on cars. So, if I can get rid of the wife for the night, I will come over, but I expect there to be naked girls dancing on a pole while we work! I will need directions sent to mkent93@yahoo.com

I wasted 10 minutes of my life talking to a guy at a Ford dealership about the SVT Focus and he said the motor is no different than the regular focus...is this true? I thought a 155hp version SVT was lame as a 155hp Saleen but as someone else said, perhaps the SVT is a better all around car with equal HP. To be honest, I'd rather drive a Cobalt SS for the money than either of these two specialty Focus (or even an SRT-4).

Thank you...Finally, free food! I was getting tired of hamburger helper and chicken fingers anyway.

I met some friends in Mt. Vernon tonight and stopped by the Ford dealership. There were two NEW Saleen Mustangs, really nice looking cars, but for $50000 and only 330 HP? I think not. I'll take a used Z06. These Mustangs were not what got my attention though. It was the Saleen Ford Focus that had me laughing. At first, I thought, well a supercharged Focus COULD be pretty cool, right? Wrong, it is a naturally aspirated 155hp engine. One of the items listed among the long list of options were, my favorite, "SALEEN VALVE STEM CAPS." I never would have thought Saleen would have a 155HP car...never! There was one cool thing about this Focus though. It comes equipped with a 75-wet shot of N20 and a 10 pound bottle. All this for $29000. Not my type of car, but the N20 being an option on a dealer equipped car really turned me on. I'll grow a mullet and put Jegs stickers on my Camaro before I ever drive a Focus but I just found this car interesting and thought I should share. Sorry for not getting pictures.

If the trunk and top of the car matched the hood, I think you may have been able to get away with the two-tone. Most people would still dog on it but that is because most people don't like "different" things. I've seen some really clean looking paint jobs that are two-tone, and in my opinion, your hood didn't look bad at all. However, I would rather spend the $700 upping the performance and upgrade the body last, if at all. I'm a V8 guy, but alot can be done with that ecotec GM put in those cars. As a matter of fact, if you search hard enough online, GM put together a book telling you what parts to buy for modifying your engine from 250hp all the way up 1400hp. It includes part numbers and everything. Just my two cents.

165ish in my 97 Z28. I had it pegged and kept on going....I then took my warped rotors back to autozone under warranty.

i'm thinkin slicks. Someone needs to photochop some salad shooters onto Sams car and post them at the corvette forums. That should confuse some of those old bastards.

it's been a while, but I think when I installed my C5 wheels on my Z, I had to file MY wheel hub down. If I am correct, then the Fbody wheels have a larger hub than the vette and therefore you should have no issues. Let me know how it turns out.

Sam, I have quite a few off 4th gens. I believe they all have tires mounted on them though (is that a problem?). What are you trying to fit them on?

...and it still is.

was you at Norwalk wednesday night? I was up there too...i thought i blew my tranny on my 3rd round burnout so I just idled down the track and went home.

are they still available?

If you look closely, you will see that Porsche is not a car. It is an elegant bridge to aid pedestrians in reaching the coconut trees which are also known as palm trees.

hmm...that's not how I gas up my car. On the other hand, that works pretty slick for an oil change!

hey man, your interface cable is fine. I do hope you bought the newer USB interface cable rather than the serial cable. In my 97, I just bought an OBD2 interface cable, and had a guy solder in a resistor to the PCM board so I did not have to replace the actual sensor in the block. I use TunerCat (although I have not actually tuned)and other than the PITA USB-Serial adapter, everything works fine. The OBD1 was just plug-in and go. You can leave the rear o2's hooked up, it does not hurt anything because the PCM does not have an input for them anyways.

oh, wow. this is my dream car!...the best pace car ever!!! http://mecumauction.com/auctions/lot_detail.html?CART=111998677216074832&LOT_ID=OH0705-26812

werd. that's where I learned to race, and my 1/8 mile there was always faster than my 1/8 mile at NTR.

is this anywhere near the Jake? I'll be up there for an Indians game Saturday night and I'm looking for something to do during the day until the game starts.
