  1. i guess this isn't a for-sale section but i wanted to know if anyone is interested in 3 section 12C tickets. I think my friends are puttin them on ebay soon but I thought I would see if anybody local wanted them. I'm not sure what they're trying to get out of them but being the Michigan game I'm sure they're sorta pricey.

  9. I believe he is going to serve our country. I just hope he doesn't get any bright ideas to put StreetGlows on an F-16 and cause it to get shot down. good luck, Lee, wherever you're goin! graemlins/thumb.gif
  10. http://www.bath.ac.uk/~ccsshb/12cyl/ anyone have a doner car?... moderators...this is borderline NWS. some people may feel the need to flop it out in the office and polish the pipe when they see these pictures
  11. i'm guessing he was driving the black car in the near lane. it reads 13.565@108.69mph, it's jsut hard to see cause the guy stands up in front of the camera.

    This weekend?

i know a few people who are going to "Light the Night" in Newark. It's a big car show with old and new cars on the square. Always a good turnout.
  14. i'll take a C5-R and laugh at all of you while i'm winning at LeMans....assuming my gas tank doesn't explode...
  15. i wouldn't mind seeing it done from the top. if i didn't have a softball tournament, i'd be all about giving you an extra hand. btw, you said you're trying to get this done for norwalk...if it's an fbody meet, could one of you link me to more info?
  16. i see how it could be quicker if the interior is already tore out, but a couple years ago, my dad and i did a fuel pump on a 94 Z28. we didn't have to completely remove the rearend we just unbolted the shocks, sway bar, tracking bar, ect, and lowered the rear as much as we could on hydraulic jack. the only hard part was getting the stock i-pipe out of the way, but w/aftermarket exhaust that is painless. we did it in an afternoon w/o any problems and i was glad i didn't cut anything up since it wasn't as hard as some people make it out to be.
  17. anthony, i recommend dropping the tank and then installing it. you'll have as much time pulling back the carpet cutting the hole (without hitting the tank) and getting it all back in nicely as it would take to just drop the rearend a bit and pull the tank out. i assume you have aftermarket exhaust? if the intermediate pipe is 2-piece, that makes the job less time consuming.
  18. that's the hottest thing i've seen in a while ooops, i hope she doesn't find out i posted that video on the net! (i just realized she said i was the only person allowed to see that) graemlins/doh.gif
  19. so did we have black itr guy in mind when we wrote this? i don't think this only extends to half of columbus, but to most people who graduated high school after 2002. that seems to begin the vtech generation of people i know. i'm just a domestic car guy but from what i understand, variable valve timing just makes it so you can have an economical cam which adjusts to a better breathing setup after a certain rpm. for a performance application, it seems like a regular, non-variable timing cam would be the way to go...that way you can have the performance throughout the entire rpm range instead of only after 5000rpm (or whatever the honda vtech is set at). please educate me if i'm wrong, i find variable timing very interesting for street applications.
  20. +1 for drifter, i don't care what you all say! where's he been?
  21. hahaha you know saturday night when scheetz and gilmore were passin through newark? well, when they downshifted and took off, i went about half throttle, the rpms never went above 3000rpms and i you guys didn't pull on me! that was the first time i found out what "honda foot" meant to my car...it translates to "half throttle." graemlins/burnout.gif
  22. i aint skurred cause i drive a z28, u know...one of those special cavaliers
  23. you stupid coshoctonian. protect your cows so i can still buy my milk and beef in gahanna for a decent price! bastard!
  24. grudge nights are wednesdays. i assume you mean street legal drags??? i believe it's just open to the ford people...seeing how you drive one of those POS i think you can run test in tune friday from 9-6. btw, nice car, i was checkin out a new mach 1 on the lot and i really like them even though i'm a camaro guy. call NTR and they'll help you out.
  25. sorry you columbus guys probably aren't lucky enough to attend this meeting since we live over an hour away. but we will keep you in mind while we're changing the shoes on our horses. we will be cow tipping around 11 if anyone wants to join up later! who's coming with me!? graemlins/popcorn.gif
