  1. I'm kinda confused as to why he's got two different horsepower numbers while on nitrous. He mentions 730 before the ET, then 780 at the bottom of "engine components". I mean he could have different nozzles obviously, but I would think he would be advertising his most impressive numbers. Regardless, that kind of power is easily 9-second range with proper traction. Mike Tymensky has gone deep into the 9's in his N/A 4V 'Stang with less than 700 rwhp. He traps in the mid 130's if I'm not mistaken.

  2. Not even worth my time to type a full in-depth review. The only good things in the movie were Ashley Judd nekkid and some comic relief from Harry Connick Jr. Don't go see this in theatres. You will be disappointed if you do.

  3. Yeah, that was a World of Warcraft video they were watching and lip synching two. A female Tauren (cow people) was "singing", with a male tauren, undead, and troll chiming in I believe. Been a while since I've seen it.

  4. [bill Lumberg] Hey, sir. What's happening? Um, I'm gonna have to go ahead and ask you to off yourself, mkay? That way we'd have some room for, uh, some less-than-complete-retards to occupy the air we breathe. If you could just go ahead and do that by toMORROW, that would be great. Mkay? 5. I'm actually kinda worried that both my big toes are ingrown. The left side of my left big toenail and the right side of my right big toenail seem to be digging into the skin, pushing it up over the nail. And it's rather painful if I push on either.

  6. I was actually thinking about it. But some part of me just can't help but believe it'll turn out like some phone sex episode where the ACTUAL Tania bitch is like 350 lbs with the clap. So I passed.

  7. Can you make a DVD of that I would love to have it too.

Is there a way to record a DVR program onto a DVD disk? If there is, by all means i'll hook ya up. Not sure how that might be done, though.

  8. I might leave tonights show on DVR for the rest of my life. I used to watch it all the time with my grandpa (R.I.P.) and have been catching it now and then at work on my lunch breaks. It's definitely one of those staples of modern television that people will never forget, and might be somethin' I might wanna show my kids someday :).

And I'd rather them show reruns for life than replace Bob with a different host.

  9. Summary: Sort of leaving where 28 Days Later left off, the opening scene is still in the time where the infected were running rampant. Fast-forwarding to the near future, the U.S. Military has determined that mainland Great Britain is free of infection and sets up a base camp called District 1. District 1 is now the future of Britain where over 15,000 inhabitants are beginning to repopulate the nation, with more people being shipped in. District 1 is a heavily reinforced military settlement guarded with tanks, sharpshooters, security systems, back-up power systems, etc. and is a quarantined safe haven for all civilians. A father, who lost his wife and a number of friends in the path of the infected, is reunited with his children who were away at the time. These kids take an illegal trip to their old house and surprisingly find the mom/wife alive and apparantly "virus-free". Once back at the facility, however, the virus returns and wreaks havoc once again on the inhabitants.

Pros: I think 28 Days Later took your average "scary" zombie flick and added the attributes to ACTUALLY make them terrifying - speed and aggression. 28 Weeks Later takes this to another level at a far less boring pace with more blood, more gore, more violence, more "jumpy" parts, and less drama.

Cons: Still some slow parts (though arguably necessary), the actors/actresses were B-list and below again (though the acting wasn't terrible), and I personally feel the military made some dumb fucking decisions.

Conclusion: 4.5/5.0. I thought the plausible method of bringing the virus back (which I intentionally left out of the summary for obvious reasons) was very well-played, and I enjoyed the fact that there's more of a storyline other than simply survival. Case in point, if you liked the first one, you should LOVE this one. If you didn't like the first one, you still may very well like this one.

  10. Agreed. They were really popular in middle school' date=' I figured they just faded away after that. Listening to some guy yell SHUT-UP! 10 times over just isn't something I want to hear.[/quote']

That's the one Linkin Park song I can't stand. Almost everything else off Hybrid Theory was awesome. At least half the songs off Meteora were awesome. Now with their new album, they've gone consistently downhill.

  11. Yeah, but like I said i'm not mad or disappointed or anything along those lines. Like you post suggests, I'm sure there's a lot of things that go into photography that a lot of people don't know about and therefore you can always get those picture-perfect shots and you don't really have time nor desire to worry about how many decent pictures you take of each vehicle and all that.

Besides, when taking pictures of cars at a track, there's not a whole lot of eventful stuff to catch in film. Even if you took pictures of the times, you wouldn't be able to tell what cars they were for. So all you really have to deal with are burnouts and launches, which a lot of the slower cars don't do.

I do really like those on-the-move photos. I'd love to see more of those at the Fall event. Again, very nice job and I can't wait to see more of 'em from future events.

  12. Very nice pics, Kev.

I kinda feel for Buck, though. My MS3 actually made it in one photo, my bro's SRT4 made 3 pics. Although they're not as exciting as Ant's Formula or the '07 Z06 or the SC Viper, is it really necessary to have those 3 vehicles to account for 25% of the pics? Even Turborust's 'Stang made quite an appearance. I'm not mad or bitter in the least as those cars doing burnouts and running faster times are obviously the larger attraction, but a few more of the little people wouldn't hurt :). Even the Evo's and WRX's were semi-scarce comparatively.
