Some how today, my phone stopped working. it powers up, and everything looks fine, but its not picking up my finger/thumb on the touchpad. I have my brothers old phone, same model, that he smashed the screen on, and I was able to get the digitizer (i believe thats what it was called...right under the glass) out, but not without breaking a couple clips holding in some ribbon wires. since it was a garbage phone, i practiced on that first, and found out im not good enough to attempt it on my phone. the wires attached to the part are fine. but i have the part out, im thinking thats what needs replaced. I checked CPR - cell phone repair, but they're only open til 4 today (and i didn't get home to look at this until it was too late), and the site says hilliard store open til 6, so i made the nearly 1/2hr drive over there, only to find that location is also closed at 4...and its not like i have a working phone to be able to call them and check so i need to see if any place is open on sunday i can try to get this swapped out and hopefully get my phone back to operable condition. if you know anywhere, please let me know. id appreciate it. i feel dead to the world right now not even being able to make a call, text, etc.

How much time do you spend infront of the TV a day?
evan9381 replied to Sturg1647545502's topic in Dumpster
About this. I do weeknight cycling rides a few days a week, but if im home, the TV is usually on. almost always a news channel, and i have to have a TV on to sleep. when my ex first stayed over, she woke up about 3am and turned the TV off, and i woke up out of my sleep to tell her it needed to stay on. lol. she learned to sleep with it on. i probably watch way too much, 15-20 hours, but the tv is on in front of me a hell of a lot more if you count while im sleeping. -
hopefully you're not the only one in town that can plug a tire i'll still be out when i need tires next, it's just too much of a drive for me to get out there for a small job like that.

I've used Derek for years, its just that his new shop is a bit too far for me to get to for minor stuff with my hours and schedule. I've got a slow air leak in one tire. I don't THINK there's anything through the tire, maybe just needs remounted for a better seal? the other i found a nail or something in it today. will probably need plugged/patched if anyone can do this cheap or on the side, i'd like to take care of it within the next week or so. i'm off work at sawmill/270 at 5, and am home (easton area) by 530. right now, friday would be best, but if we have crap weather like rain that cancels my evening outdoor plans, one of those days would work too. PM me a shop location/price so we can figure something out. Thanks!

Just have Cody go do it, and when the guy comes out yelling, just have him do some sign language and play dumb then walk away.

so in this awesome housing market, and that being like 8months ago, half of the equity is what...$50? lol

Ohio is not a community property state, so your wife's place you married into is 100% hers. :gabe:

2k even for a 1400' sq/ft house. brothers friend worked for a company though and did it on the side

i bought a 2011 cannondale CAAD8 for <$900 new. tiagra components. i rode the hell out of it last year. 4k miles or so, bunch on the trainer, then it served as a winter/rain bike over the colder months. still shifts just fine, runs smooth, no creaks/etc. it does need new brake pads i saw recently, but thats super minor after what i've put it through. thought about selling it, but with as nice as it still is, i decided to keep it for future winters and rainy days.

Its called FREE if you read my damn post right above yours.

rides this weekend? i got in 4 rides in 3 days. 3 road, 1 mountain Saturday - semi-casual ride with 3 friends. 48 miles - http://app.strava.com/activities/56214669 Sunday - started with a couple laps of mountain biking with 3 different friends. i don't have a mountain bike, but when one is offered to me to use, i'll take it every time. loop is actually 11 miles, but GPS signal sucks. plus, at the end of the first loop, me and my buddy backtracked to find the girls, so probably around 13 on the first one. i was happy, because i did the first loop in 1:01:xx, and my buddy said when he races there, he's shooting for just under 1 hour laps. 4th time ever mountain biking, i'll take it! loop 1 then 2 - http://app.strava.com/activities/56492135 http://app.strava.com/activities/56492128 THEN, i got home, had about an hour break, and a super relaxed group ride. it's about 7.5 miles from home, so i rode to it. about a 38 mile loop, then back home http://app.strava.com/activities/56492130 and if those 2 days weren't enough, did a 55 miler today. back to a semi-casual pace. had an awesome tail wind for the first half, a light lunch break, then an absolutely brutal headwind back. i did get in a solid 5 mile pull with a 15mph cross wind which just kicked my ass, but i know it'll make me stronger. http://app.strava.com/activities/56688660 about 180 miles for the long weekend, and finally over 2k miles for the year. definitely on pace to hit/pass my goal of 5k this year. last year, i told myself when i hit my 2k goal (which i ended up smashing by almost double), i'd buy myself a garmin. well, i hit that goal on a ride in lancaster with some hills, so knowing i was going to hit it, i bought the garmin a few days before so i could have it for that ride. that was around july 14th that i hit 2k last year, so im about 6-7 weeks ahead of last year.

argh. i somewhat need/want a small chainsaw so much for the 1-2x a year i have stuff i need to take care of. wish i didn't have a couple random things pop up in the last week that i could grab this. if anyone does end up picking it up, i have a pull string you can have, and its brand new. the wind up part on my lawnmower busted over the winter, and i literally JUST had the new one come in the mail and i replaced it friday evening. i had to reuse my old string because the new one wasnt as long. it's still ~3' long. i would think plenty for that chainsaw. i'm near easton and can leave it outside my garage door if you want to stop over during the day to grab it.

buddy of mine that i ride with has one. i haven't ridden in it, but he said for what it is, it's a decent car.

My brother had his brother in law living with them for about a year. I guess dude had some irrational fear of water or something...would only shower once or twice a month. Disgusting. Always made sure to avoid the food joints he was working at.

Complain about a guy smelling horrible, then say you considered giving him some Old Spice. Makes cents
-
That sounds like shit to me...if that were true, why would people always be sketchy on buying stuff on CL for low "too good to be true" prices. If all i had to do was say "i didnt know it was stolen", only retards like paul would admit that they knew it might be and take the RSP charge
-
paul, dont even come at me with that shit. you're the most illiterate person on this board. talk about pot calling the kettle black
-
Eh, nevermind on pt2...i missed that part. Tell her to wear some gloves and keep that shit on
-
Also, why wasnt your fiance WEARING her ring? Sounds like your brothers friend wasnt the only shady one in the house that day
-
Wait...why wouldnt the cops hit the pawn shop for receiving stolen property? Are they exempt from that law some how?
-
Yep, fuck that. I get nervous enough hitting anything over 45 on a downhill on my bike

I'll +rep you for beating me to this, but at the same time, quote me when I say "don't hold your breath" can we get a pool for how long before he creates another similar thread?
