Phone is here...so far, love it... One thing i cant figure out and maybe its not a feature, or maybe im just not seeing it...how can i quickly share a link or image from online or something? With my 3 year old HTC DInc, i could just long press, and a box would come up saying "share via" and i could choose FB, text, mail, google goggles, etc...a whole slew of options...when i do a long press here, it only gives me an option to view, copy, or save.. Thanks in advance

you can call him and find out, but i'm pretty sure that's not the deal. i believe he bought one to take some body panels and other parts to fix his wrecked one. or you can try to call a junk yard. last time i had to buy one of those engines, they wanted over $700 for just the engine.

this is one thing that pisses me off to no end. twice in recent years i've flown to FL to drive my grandma back home for the summer (she's a snowbird)...FL, GA, TN, KY, 95% or more will move over as soon as you're coming up, and not wait for you to sit on their ass hit that fuckin OH line, every retard drives at or below the speed limit in the left lane. any more i get right up on their ass with enough room to brake but still let them know they need to get the fuck over. i'd love to have that windshield banner, but i wouldnt want it displaying 100% of the time...maybe a piece attached to the visors i could just fold down when i need it the other thing that pisses me off to no end is on my daily drive to work (270 from morse rd to sawmill), coming around the bend coming up to rt3, DAILY, i will come to a stop, or damn near it. in almost a year of working there, i've seen MAYBE 1-2 legit accidents to slow traffic. its full of fuckers in every single lane that can't deal with exiting (which the exit ramp is empty) or doesnt know how to let the entrance ramp merge. i've even come to a complete stop in the left lane with no accident AT ALL from people merging on from 315. complete fucking stop in the left lane.

So since apparently im an idiot and getting mixed answers online, do i need to have a sim card for verizon with this phone? Ive never had a sim card with verizon in 6-7 years of being with them.

i found one local, new, for $350. also around online (amazon, ebay) for just over 400. i'd rather spend a few bucks more to buy one that i know has never been used than take any risks. its my ocd. lol

It's finally about time to get a new phone. my old phone (an original HTC Incredible) is on its last leg. I've had it 3 years in July, and it's done most if not all of what I've needed it to in that time. Hell, I'm still running Android 2.2...I just need basic smartphone functions. Talk, text, internet (forums, youtube, finding businesses, etc), camera, maps/GPS. I was wanting the GS3 when it came out, but like an idiot, didn't do my upgrade before Verizon changed things around to where I can't get a subsidized phone and keep my old contract. So are there any MAJOR reasons a GS3 shouldn't be enough for me for another couple years assuming I take care of the phone physically? I know we don't know what's going to change in that time, but lets just use best guesses. I know there are superior phones out there now, but I'm not a user that needs every one of the latest updates and cool updates. Also, I'm planning to buy the phone outright so I can keep my old plan. Part of this is to say "fuck you, Verizon" for taking away the old plans, but more because my plan works for me. I use about 3-4gb data/mo, usually under 100 minutes, and under 500 out of network texts (a lot of my friends are on vzw as well), and with a corporate discount, I pay <$80/mo. On Verizons new plans, even with my discount, I'd be paying about $20-30/mo more, which means a $400 phone would even out after about a year to a year and a half. TL;DR - I use basic smartphone functions, any reason a GS3 shouldn't be enough to last me at least a couple years?

im 5'11 with a 32" inseam and when i ride MTB, i ride a 19" or 19.5". this is tempting, as i've been thinking of picking up a MTB, but i'd have to sell my aluminum bike first, and i know i wont get quite that much out of it. argh.

i haven't bought ammo in probably over a year. i dont shoot enough to miss it.

not that anyone responded, but this can be closed. after my alarm went off at 5am today, i had to pull the battery to shut it off...when i woke up and 10 and put it back in for shits and giggles, its working again. maybe it'll last a little bit longer this time around
