i moved into an appartment last month. they told me that i can paint the walls as long as they are white again when i move out. as with many other appartments, before i moved in they cleaned it up, and put new white paint up. just like other places as well, they used cheap shitty paint. it gets marked up VERY easily. im going to redo some of the walls white, and some in color. what i would like to find is some paint that is washable. the stuff they have on now if i try to scrub out some very light marks, it goes down to drywall in no time. anyone have any suggestions on paint to use?

its better...closer to what im used to on another forum im more active on (http://www.elantraxd.com for the example), but they put the recent posts on the right side and site announcements in the middle. it makes it very easy to navigate. i like having a homepage and the new posts on it...im not a fan of searching thru the forums to find new posts

yeah, i had my window down, hands on the wheel, turned the car off and waited. wasn't rude to him. i guess i just got tagged to be one of the people getting pulled over and ticketed on 4th of july.

probably. i know a lot of people say gahanna is real bad about it as well. i dont live in gahanna anymore, and haven't lived there with my tint, but im there almost daily between goin over to my dads, driving thru to get to/from work, and i pass cops all day long, have watched them look at my car while going by and dont do anything about it i guess it would have even been nice to get a fix-it ticket and have my cop friend write it as ok. oh well. like i said, its only 85$. not gonna strain my wallet.

i thought so too...when i got in a wreck a few years ago the cop put down "dry" for road conditions, which it was raining (which is why i got in the accident) AND there was water spots on the ticket from the rain. that didnt help me, but luckily he did not show to court so the whole thing got dismissed

guy, i dont know you, but you seem to think you know me and think im an idiot. if you read my original post, you can see where i said "since i knew it was illegal". 2nd. im not "fucked". its an 85$ ticket. if getting an 85$ ticket means you, yourself are "fucked", maybe you should think about a career change..."fucked" would be if they pulled me over for tint, got me for my tail light shades, exhaust, decided to search my car, found drugs and a pipe, etc. then i would be fucked. 3rd - i did not blame the tint shop. all i stated was that i asked for 23% and when it got tested it came to 18%. the main question in my post was asking if anyone has been pulled over for just tint and no other infractions of the law. i didnt come on here asking how i can get out of a ticket good point. i guess i didn't take that into consideration.

well that sucks...i thought my last one had dropped...i got the ticked early june 03...turns out that because i tried to fight it, and asked for like 30 days to pay the ticket once i lost, and forgot to pay it (paid it like the day i got the letter about my warrant) they didnt close it until 08/03/03...maybe i should wait a few days to get my new insurance policy when my current one w/ nationwide expires at the end of july

the night we went i drove up there, sat in the staging lanes for a good 90 minutes (when howie wrecked the vette) and ran on a pretty cold engine...pushed it up to the last part of the staging lanes and had it running 2-3 min before running...temps were about 65 but i had some shitty launches/missed lights... ...ALL the other runs were done on a hot engine (hadn't turned off the car or popped the hood)...the temps did drop a bit that night, at the end it was probably 45 degrees out...the thing is though my last 5-6 runs were done in the last hour when the track died down. it was just get off the track, drive back down, wait for 2 cars to go and i was up again. my last run of the night was my best and the whole night i was low on gas...i got to 27 and put about 4 gallons in my car...a little less than 1/4 tank so gas was low all night

well the issue stemmed after i went out to NTR in may...not a heavily modded car, 2003 elantra, intake/header/exhaust/underdrive pulley and some light wheels (13lbs)/somewhat sticky tires...struts/springs...i was hitting 2.4-2.6 60 fts at the beginning of the night, and trapping around 88mph. once i started getting the feel for the track, i eventually hit a 2.268 60' and trapped 90.72. for some reason the people on the boards are saying different...doesnt make sense to me

seemed like the hook was pretty good for me when i went out to friday night street fights in may. i was pleased... and 2 runs in 6 hours??? i got there at 7pm, got registered and shit, and made 9 passes before they shut down at 11.

can someone who knows what they're doing explain this? ive had a couple people on another forum trying to say "if your 60' time drops, your trap speed will stay the same or go down some". to me, this doesnt make sense. i would think that coming out of the hole faster would make for a quicker, higher mph run...anyone??
