right now i have a 4-2-1 header on my car. the fuck nut who had these before me cheaped out and welded the stock flex/2nd cat onto it. i need to get this remade. it sounds like shit and the nasty bend (see attached pic) is killing my exhaust flow. ive decided to get a new flex, a couple 2.25" aluminized steel mandrel bends, a resonator, and a new o2 bung. the exhaust will have to be cut out from the header collector to the catback, and part of the catback as well...i will probably go up to eagle and talk to mark, but what im not sure about is this...will this be able to be done without removing the header from the car? im hoping to put a flange at the collector, then a flange from the flex to the 2nd cat, and then weld in the resonator to the midsection...the flanges are going to need to be welded on, im just not sure if there will be an issue getting over the top of the pipe to weld onto the headr. the rest of the exhaust is easy to get out if needed (4 bolts for the mid section)...in total looking at header, removable section flex to cat, midsection, and axle back, so 4 pieces... http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/PICT6473.jpg

i had cingular for over a year and they were great. no dropped calls, no shitty signal. i just got pissed off when i bought a phone from someone and it fried my sim within 10 minutes and all cingular said was "sorry. we cant get your info back. technology isnt that advanced yet" so i walked over to verizon....other than that i woulda stuck w/ cingular

im an MSNBC addict, and i usually watch her show. i absolutely HATE her voice. it makes me want to put a bullet in MY head. she was interviewing howard stern like a week ago at what looked to be a movie premier or something...he was saying "i love your show" or something, and she asked what it is he likes about her show, and he was like (in a mocking her type voice) "i love your voice. it sounds like you just came out of a smoky bar and smoked a pack yourself. you have that deep froggy voice that turns me on in women" /end voice i was dying. she does get some good interviews though. thats why i can put up with her for 40 minutes worth of show

f them. how much is the plan, like 45-50$/month? i have a verizon plan, free verzion to verizon, 400 anytime minutes, free nights/weekends, something like 250 text messages/mo, insurance, for 47$/month. i realize revol has unlimited calling, but for shitty coverage/service like that, i wouldnt pay any more than maybe 20$

i work with a guy who has one...we went to lunch at damons one day and he coudnt get service inside damons while i had full signal on my cingular/verizon (dont remember what i had at the time). we were in gahanna so its not like we were way out there

hmm...when i called safe auto they only asked about anything in the last 3 years what do you think the chances of getting on at nationwide for cheap? my parents have multiple auto insurance policies thru them, and i believe home owners insurance as well. i just cant be on it any longer since theres going to be 4 different residences between 6 family members (brother and i at dift places, brother and dad together and mom and sis together)

in my opinion, stuff that does not have a purpose is the stuff people will usually flame you for. neons/leds. no purpose but looks. IMO = gay. wing on a FWD car, gay. huge exhaust tip (welded onto stock exhaust) = gay. 8 sets of fog lights = not needed. clear tails...??. body kit...please dont claim you need to be more aerodynamic in a 150hp car. wings (not a stock spoiler) are usually reserved for something where it makes sense. a RWD drift/road racing car can benefit from them, which isnt so bad. when i see a honda with alteezas, a wing, and stock 14"s w/ hub caps rollin down the road...yeah....rice...if you have a can style muffler that is loud, i pray you have at least a cat back and not just going for sound...a full exhaust would be better. bigger wheels i dont really see as 'rice', as they usually do make a car look much better, but if you go too big and too heavy it will greatly decrease the acceleration of your car, which is what makes me think rice. i try to keep my car as purposeful as possible. yes, i do have a can muffler, but on the same token i have headers and a full exhaust. you will never find a wing or a body kit unless by some miracle of god chance someone finds out an easy way to get 500hp and RWD conversion into my elantra (hahahahah. i wish). i stayed w/ light weight wheels (15", 12lbs), lowered it 2" all around with struts and springs (not cut my stock springs), bigger sway bar, and upgraded the brakes. although i dont consider my car "fast" by any token, it is one of the quickest n/a elantras on the forums im on. im happy with my car and i tend to get a lot of compliments for what ive done. if you keep it simple and purposeful, you will find a lot more people will like your car. if you dont give a shit what people think of your car, disregard this whole post. haha

after july 31 i will no longer be covered under my parents insurance policy, so i need to find my own. currently my car is finanaced and i owe about 8500 on it. over the last 2 years my record is spotless, but june 04 i was involved in an accident (at fault) and oct of 03 i had a speeding ticket. both will be dropped in a year. i called safe auto and the cheapest they are able to insure me for is 219/month and thats the bare minimum. now the other thing is i am moving out within a couple weeks and i will need to get renters insurance. any younger drivers have their own policy and can make some suggestions? i figure if i get renters and auto thru one company i may be able to save a little bit. 219/month will kill me...ive been paying 140/month thru my parents plan which i thought was high. if i need to budget for another 80-120$/mo (for better coverage) its going to hurt me a lot any suggestions?
