  2. who said she was "in need"? i said she posted she was a single mom. it was $200, and i dont feel bad. i put it up for friends and family at $1200, and i would've listed it for $1500 on CL expecting lowballs but trust me, she definitely was not "in need"...we got to talking, she was saying tomorrow shes gotta go buy a BRIDESMAID dress that's $3k (said the brides dress was 26k. WTF), a new laptop, said she was going to get a tattoo done on her chest that was gonna cost more than the car did. she told me she had like $10k in the bookbag she was carrying. why she told me, a complete stranger, this, idk. Anthony - if you're asking about Andy, I got a text from Derek a couple hours before I was supposed to meet her, and she was walking and taking a bus from downtown to Easton. I wanted to at least give her a chance at it and not sell it out from under her. i let derek know if she said no, i was gonna call him as soon as i left to meet up with them to switch it over.
  3. Had the kia listed for sale on here for a week or two. Didnt want to deal with CL scammers and bullshit quite yet, so i avoided it. Jason sent me a post of a single mom looking for a car for $2k or less. Figured what the hell, sent her a message listing it a couple hundred more than here figuring id get a lower offer, let her know the known issues...she got right back, arranged to meet her after i got off work, she brought cash...Went to my bank (amen for 5/3 inside kroger open til 8), got the title notarized, drove it to her house, took my tags and was on my way. Easy peasy. Thanks again to Jason for sending me the link, otherwise i would have never seen it.

  12. my question isnt about finding my max. if i wanted to go off the fastest ive ever got my heart pumping, its up around 199-201. even going off this, 171 is 85%...for 6 hours. My question is how do i get stroger to the point that im not putting that much stress on my heart? i could do a slow ride at 14mph and keep my HR at 140 and ride literally all day long. how do i work to the point where i can do a faster paced ride and keep a lower HR so i can have more endurace and not feel like im working so hard?
  13. 171 average HR for almost 6 hours today. Hit my max or more over 22 times. Felt a little sore but ok after the ride...Hurting pretty bad now. Chest is tight, a little hard to breathe.   14. my best friend works for his parents appiance repair company, but they're in pittsburgh sorry. if he was coming out anytime soon, i'd see if he could lend a hand, but i havent heard when he'll be here next.

  20. Good food, lousy lunch service. Brother and i went there couple weeks ago, ordered drinks and food as soon as we got in, so slow we didnt even have time to eat lunch and had to take it back to work. After asking for our lunch to be brought out to go, obviously indicating we were in a rush to leave due to being there so long, she comes with the check, i give her my card right then, and this bitch stopped at 2 tables to take their order before running my card. Wtf. Idk if i've ever written a restaurant about shitty service, but i did that day. They gave me and my brother both a $25 gift card. ill probably give them another chance, but definitely not on a lunch hour.
  21. How far ahead of time are you talking? For example, lets say on a day like today, up at 630, breakfast, at work at 8, lunch at 12, and i plan to ride at 6. I know if i dont eat within an hour or so of starting, i break really early. So what would be something to shoot for during lunch, and something pre ride?
  22. Such as? I honestly probably need to figure out a good diet and stick to it. I usually try to stay hydrated leading up to a ride day, although i know i could/should do much better. If im riding in the AM, i slam carbs the night before. Evening rides ill eat a decent lunch, and have some carbs/sugar (pb&j) about an hour before, has helped me a lot doing that. I should say, its not that i really feel fatigued, i mean, i keep with our group and dont get dropped like i did start of the year, i just want to do what im doing now, but with less effort/not requiring as much energy...then i can have some extra reserves for when a few of us want to mess around and do sprints and just go balls to the wall for 2-300 meters, im not burnt out and hitting 199+ bpm after 100 meters.
