    They have been in the business of selling guns for over 40 years. Just because you want them to change their refund policy that they have had for as long as I can remember, doesn't mean they have bad customer service. You do also realize that Vance's owns Buckeye Outdoors, one of the largest stores of it's type in the whole state. I would say they have the market for more than just that area of town. Although, I am not really sure anyone cares where you shop. Not really, I've never been treated better than at Buckeye Outdoors (Vance's owned). Gander Mountain and Dick's are outrageously priced, NASR is full of a bunch of assholes who treat you like shit and have shitty prices, and Blackwing is owned by some shady folks. Same could be said for any item at any store, not sure the point you are trying to make here.
  2. You have that backwards, if you don't have snow sticking to your roof, you aren't insulated enough. Why would you want all your heat escaping from the living space and into the attic enough to heat the roof to melt the snow?

    Vance's salesmen do not work on commission, never have. You obviously didn't have them specify that you would get a refund. Not very many people buy a gun then want to return it with a refund, most want to buy a gun, and will exchange it for another one because they don't want the one they bought. I've provided some simple reasons as to why, and I can understand that you are pissed, but seriously, maybe you should have checked before buying a gun.

    Because that is Vance's return policy for guns. YOU should have asked them to specify. point proven. How would they know? Hence the return policy of usually 24 hours and store credit. It's so someone won't buy a gun, use it to hold up a store, then return it to get their money back. Let's not mention the FFL record keeping laws

    Tachnical huh? It's actually a big difference. A CCW allows you to carry a WEAPON concealed, Ohio's is very specific to handguns

    Thai's Asian Bistro on Lane ave. It's like $6.50 for sweet and sour chicken and you can barely eat it all they give you some much. Not to mention it's delicious. Also, Uncle Fangs at the corner of County line and Sunbury rd is absolutely delicious.
  14. In central ohio, in terms of cost, from cheapest to most expensive you are looking at 1. slab block 2. slab poured 3. partial block 4. partial poured 5. full block 6. full poured. Although it's been a few years, partial poured may be just as much as full block.
  15. Most likely it doesn't go the full depth, that is why the crawlspace is cheaper than the full basement. It's mainly done as a cost saving factor around here.
  16. I could tell if you if it's a POS or not, but I would still suggest a licensed inspector. We had a salaried inspector who would walk through the houses before permit inspections. Their job is to look for flaws, my job was to get it built right in the first place. Plus new build inspection is different than a used home. I have no idea how to inspect for certain things that come with a 5-10-15 yr old house. Anyways, with that upfront, PM me and I'll send you my # and I may or may not be free tomorrow. My GF gets back into town from Buffalo at some point during the day.

I've been at a closing on the selling end as an officer of my father's old real estate company over 70 times. I have purchased 2 foreclosed properties. Let's not forget that a really good friend of mine is one of the top selling foreclosure agents in Columbus and has contracts with Chase, Huntington and 5/3. Now let me ask you, how many homes have YOU owned/purchased? How many have you sold? How many closings have you ever been to? How many times have you been the person who makes the decision to accept or reject an offer (oh about 40 for me). So look, old man who thinks he knows everything about real estate because he has owned 2 houses in his life, shut the fuck up, because you have no fucking clue what you are talking about.

    Country. The selection on XM/Sirius is absolute crap. There is 1 modern country station and the rest is crap. The only thing worth it in that genre is the Bluegrass station, but NPR does 3 bluegrass shows per week or I can just turn on my iPod
