  1. Looking at the main pic it looks like a cross between a Muley and an Elk. That isn't the point though. He shot at something he didn't completely identify, or he knowingly shot it and is lying to cover his ass.
  2. The rack may be slightly larger, but the size of the Elk, as well as seeing a rump patch when in the open should have given it away. I will call anyone an idiot that shoots at something they haven't 100% identified. And Red Deer are native to Europe.
  3. Another reason I hate gun hunting in Ohio. You shouldn't be taking a shot at something at 100 yards in Ohio with no scope during gun season.
  4. Good choice I go to Barcelona about 5 times per year. Great place.
  5. Well, if you were hunting with a rifle at 100 yards you are going to have a scope. You would obviously be able to tell the size difference. Plus with a rifle and a scope at 100 yards you are going to take longer to set up your shot, making you realize that the Elk Bull does has a tan rump patch and is much larger than a Whitetail Buck. And BTW, average elk are not 1200 lbs, that's Moose. An average Bull Elk is 700 lbs and a trophy is ~900
  6. So if you don't go out for gun season, why would you be attempting a 100 yard shot with a bow?
  7. Not if you have the proper equipment and are properly trained. Man, I'm glad you keep reiterating the reasons I hate Ohio's gun season.
  8. If you have to do math to see the difference between ~530 lbs and ~310 lbs, you don't need to be hunting, because you are probably going to shoot a pony thinking it's a doe with your low IQ and bad eyesight.
  9. Don't give me that B.S. A Trophy dressed Bull elk is 600-700 lbs. Most Elk hunting studies show dressed weight at an average 437 lbs. A Trophy dressed Whitetail buck is ~250 lbs. Weight conversion for an Elk is 1.42x Dressed weight, making this Bull about 532 lbs. A large Whitetail Buck would be that dressed at 250 lbs would be 310 lbs live. Do you know how much larger a 5x4 Elk is compared to an Ohio Big Buck? Obviously none of you do.
  10. I'm a big fan of Barcelona in German Village. Great atmosphere and great Mediterranean food.

    Magic Jack

GF's parents have it, they don't seem to have any problems
  12. Why do you want a 45 GAP?
  13. Sorry, I don't shoot at things that I haven't 100% identified already.
  14. OH MAN BIG ANTLERS AND RUSTLING THE BUSHES!!! *BANG BANG BANG* (those types of hunters always require all 3 shots) Oh shit, sorry Tom, didn't know it was you just carrying a shed
  15. If I am trying to push a cart with a TV on it out of the store or something like that, I always am happy to let them check my receipt. When I am walking out with a bag of fruit, bread and cheese, I usually tell them no and keep walking. My favorite is at the Wal Mart on Bethel road when you use the checkout closest to the door on the food side, the greeter watches you checkout, watches you walk towards the door and then asks to see your receipt. That guy promptly got a "fuck off".
  16. Olive Garden. Just don't forget to wear a jacket or they will make you wear the stinky house coat.

    Cincy vs. Pitt

That's because Oklahoma isn't really in the search for a coach. You can bet on that if Stoops left though they would go after Kelly.

    Cincy vs. Pitt

I only see 2 scenarios playing out in the ND job Stoops to ND and Kelly to Oklahoma or Kelly to ND looks like it's going to be option #2

    Cincy vs. Pitt

Hmm let's look at it this way Monetary Support- ND>UC Facilities- ND>UC Recruiting Base- ND>UC National Attention- ND>UC Prestige- ND>UC If ND offers, I think Kelly takes it.
