  1. You need to pay to get the house on the MLS. Most realtor's don't look at Zillow, as it is an unreliable consumer site.

Just because you refuse to see what happened, doesn't mean I am wrong or using the wrong word. Burfict is absolutely shoving his way in between the trainer and AB. To deny that is just being blind to what happened. You talk like Burfict was supposed to be there and the trainer wasnt. You have that completely backwards.

I see the training helping a player who was knocked unconscious off the field and a player on the other team shoving his way between them. The trainer was not trying to cut between them, he was doing his damn job

Burfict shoving into the trainer and has his elbow into the trainer. It's right there, plain as day.

So Burfict should have been penalized too for unsportmanslike for shoving into the trainer too. Also, you don't know what Porter said to Burfict. The ref was standing right there in between them. Peko should have been ejected for coming off the bench onto the field to shove a player.

I think the better question is, why was the Bengals defensive huddle around Brown who was being tended to?

Porter walking off with Brown and saying something to Burfict (I think Burfict's hand may hit Porter in the face) Gilberry shoving Porter into a group of Bengals https://pbs.twimg.com/tweet_video/CYVuyIlWwAAoRB1.mp4

Jones was called for trying to get through a ref at Porter. Also, Porter was not "out in the middle of the Bengals huddle antagonizing players". He was with Brown and turned to say something to Burfict when the team Dr. threw Burfict's hand away and Gilberry shoved Porter into the group of Bengals. I mean, if we want to talk about people on the field when they shouldn't be, why wasn't Peko ejected for coming off the bench to shove a player? or you know, this

I never said it wasnt. I was explaining why they will hardly EVER call that penalty. Once the refs deem that the player was a ball carrier and not a defenseless receiver, they begin to err on the side of it being incidental. The thought process will determine how the hit was made (arms down and launching vs wrap up tackling) and if they think it was malicious (it was not, it was a fast closing play where Bernard lowered his head). They have to make this decision in real time. Fines are based on slow mo replays. The Burfict hit was against a defensless receiver which is a completely different scenario, period.

Im not. Im explaining why it wasnt called and why i dont think ive seen it called on a hit on a runner less than a handful of times. Its one of those that the refs seem to swallow the whistle and let the league figure it out rather than the other way around

    NFL Thread

Im not wrong. Everyone in the media is looking at the play from different angles in slow mo. The refs have to make that call in real time, and in real time Bernard was a runner and Shazier wrapped up as a tackler. They almost ALWAYS call that incidental in real time.

Of course he will be fined. But that is after they sit down and review the play from different angles and in slow mo. We are talking about plays that are judgement calls in real time.

It does matter With Shazier wrapping up and Bernard ducking his head, they have always sided with "incidental" in that situation.
  23. LJ

    NFL Thread

It absolutely does matter that he was a runner. The fact that he wrapped up means the refs are going to determine it to be incidental and not spearing. The rule explicitly excludes incidental during an actual tackle of a runner. Its an unsafe tackle yes, but the refs will never call that.

Bernard was a runner and Shazier wrapped up. That would very rarely ever be called. If he had launched with his arms to his side, they would call that
  25. Well I mean, he basically wrote all the carry laws in Ohio.
