  6. Where can I get my driveshaft rebuilt?

    I have 91 Isuzu Impulse RS and parts are sometimes impossible to get for it :(

    My u-joints are getting stiff and crunchy, so I am looking for a local shop to rebuild my driveshaft, since those u-joints are not replaceable and no longer sold via Isuzu anyways.

     

    The u-joints were never serviceable through isuzu, you have to buy the whole driveshaft. Usually its the carrier bearings that go out and stat making noise, not the u-joints. New carrier bearings and rubber insulators can sometimes be hard to track down, but I call merlin at St charles isuzu (he really works magic), he gives us isuzone guys a discount even though he drives a mustang :p

    A lot of guys try filling the insulators with silicone, but Ive heard good and bad about that.

    If you really want new u-joints (and a little performance) I've got a 1 piece driveshaft with loops sittin in my garage, only has a few passes on it. Maybe a little pricey and a little more rough than the stock, but let me know

    Its actually my sisters car. Its an automatic, cruise control, A/C, power locks and windows, CD player blah blah. Its an awesome daily driver, gets great gas mileage. I've got to find out from her what the ODO says if anyone is interested. Shes leaving the country so needs to sell it. Its got a few dings in it but nothing terrible. But honestly if you ask me, these cars weren't made for looks anyways :p

    Good point, though I never implied that a vote by the public for seating on the Supreme Court would then result in limited terms for the justices. No, you could have a public vote and still maintain the permanency of the seatings.

     

    You still have a good point, although I wouldn't completely agree that all justices serve to uphold the rights of minorities.

     

     

    I have a problem with popular opinion over matters like supreme court justices. Politicians know that people can be swayed easily, just bring up whatever the hot topic is and you can make the people think they have a strong feeling for it. So what would this bring? Supreme court campaigning, justice nominees making decisions prior to the vote to try and win votes. And that is NOT what the supreme court is about. Justices need to be free from any party so that they can be free to make rational decisions without fear of losing votes, or being pushed down the party line. Lower courts you can, because there can always be an appeal, but its awfully hard to appeal to a supreme court decision. Especially when they're in there for life.

    Supreme court system works, lets keep it that way.

    And my view on things, democrats are just whining because Bush got to pick 2 judges, which in a way does seem unfair, but you can not have proceedings without the full court, otherwise nothing will get solved.

    The problem with the democrats losing seats is they are too spread out. I think someone mentioned that they dont know what issues they are for. Its tough to know, some are way left and some are closer to moderate and I think thats what pushes some people away. Republicans have a full right spectrum as well, and a lot of different stands on things, but they just seem to work as a team better than democrats, at least from what Ive noticed.

    Sam is nicer than I am that's all. Oh and two chicks going at it on your bed in front of 5 guys while being taped is hot. And I know that is not going on in your bedroom. I mean who says hey wanna go back to my parents house and make a porno?

     

    haha no thats not hot in any way. two chicks yes...two dirty sluts messing around for money in front of a bunch of guys, while these guys treat them like whores (which I guess if you paid them, they really are) is not hot at all.

    Stop defending a worthless video, and save the bandwidth for the good ones.

    well in the first like 30 seconds I saw an awac, kc10, a few f15s, c17, a few helicopters (i dont know helicopters) but they were getting air refueling which is air force, A10, a b52 and an F16...

    Plus I've seen the video like 2 billion times and know theres c5's, c130's, b2's, b1's, f117's, uav's etc etc blah blah...and so yes, its an air force movie ;)
