  1. take a 90 degree turn, then stop with the front tire in a box.

slalom like 5 or 6 cones, i did it perfect but just a hint, don't accelerate haha, they are pretty tight. The guy told me I did really good on that part.

Make a U-turn, supposedly someone told me 500cc or smaller bikes have a tighter turn to make but I'm not sure about that.

Accelerate and make a quick stop, I just stopped normal and I was still like 5 feet short of the limit haha

Then you have to do a swerve and stop, I messed this one up because I guess you have to go through this one yellow box and the guy didn't tell me that (I thought it seemed really easy) I could have done it again knowing the right instructions but it didnt matter I was still WAY ahead on points by this time so I just left it. Walked back inside, had my new license in about 15-20 minutes.

Real easy, of course I've been riding since I was 18, have had a cruiser bike and a sport bike. but dont be skurrred, just don't drop it and you'll be fine. haha, i just looked at the score sheet and you can put your foot down on every test and still pass.

  2. easy stuff!

it was pretty funny, there was a guy going right after me, and before I went he said "good luck on that crotch rocket, I failed it my first time on one of those"

Flew through the test, the examiner said to him after I was done "see, its that easy," that gave me a good laugh.

  3. actually it's not even the high gas prices I want to complain about, it was $60 to fill my truck up today and it didn't really bother me even though I can barely afford anything right now because of school.

What bothers me are the shit load of annoying ass people complaining about it. People who leave home or work, and drive those extra miles, for the sole purpose of filling up at a cheaper station. People who drive to a farther station for a cheaper price, then sit in line, even on a main road if they have to, with the car and its air conditioning on for 15 minutes to get to a pump thats 5 cents cheaper than the station across the street.

Sure be pissed about higher prices, whether its doctor bills, insurance, or even freakin milk, if it goes up it pisses you off. But to the people that openly complain about the "audacity of the gas companies," shut the fuck up! Im tired of hearing about it, if you don't like it do something about it, drive less, get a smaller car, ride a bike, I don't care what you do, but I really dont care what you have to say about it.

People say bush went to war over oil, if even one of the persons I drove by today that were waiting in line at BP for 2.62/gal gas had the power he had, there would be no world left. It was like the end of the world if they didn't get their gas right now!! I went directly across the street and happily paid 2.80/gal with no lines and no idiots, definitely worth it to me.

  4. I'll switch between a faster paced 5k, and then a slower paced distance run, which is usually 7-8 miles, but lately i've been going 10+.

I try to add weight every week when I lift, and try to do more pushups and situps, but lately the amount I can add has been minute.

  5. Thats a tough one, part of me says in a regular classroom, the kids shouldnt really be bombarded by any religious material. But at the same time, if this teacher advised a christian school group, they should be allowed to put that stuff up wherever they meet. I guess just tell the teacher to put it up when appropriate, and take it down when its not appropriate, although a pain in the ass, thats pretty much how you have to deal with "sue-happy" parents these days.
  6. Lately I've been eating better to shed some weight, portioning and stopped eating junk basically, cut out pop too which I think helped a lot.

I've gotten to my target weight, problem is my body fat percentage. basically I cant shed the gut. So what I pretty much want to do is swap in muscle for the fat.

I run 3 times a week, and lift 3 times a week, I throw in push-ups and sit-ups really often too. I alternate my rest day, but even that I usually end up doing yard work or something to keep busy.

Heres my dilemma, it seems like lately its becoming harder to build more muscle so I think I need to add more calories to my day, and most likely more protein. Sounds easy enough, but I don't want to add any weight and lose what I've already done. With my job, other than the occasional engine block move or tire lift, I pretty much sit at a computer or move oil filters for 8-10 hours out of my day. Plus I have school two days a week + whatever time I need to study and such at home. So what I don't want is to load up for the day, and have it store most of it, and just gain back the fat I've already lost.

Pretty much open to suggestions haha, because I feel like I'm stuck where I'm at.

  7. I'd join you, but Im running in the air force marathon the very next day, so probably not a good idea.

In may i ran a 10:20 mile and a half, and that was the last timed distance I've had haha.

I run 3 to 4 days a week, and then do upper body strength in between.

Dont forget how hard your arms and abs actually work when you are running.

I ran 15 miles the other day, my longest so far, and my legs werent even what got tired, it was my abs and back. and I do 55 situps in a minute to give you an idea of how important upper body is to running.

  8. well except for the cheap dash (mine still looks perfect) the rest of his review was pretty much right. Driving most roads its no problem, but if I go downtown or into campus, the F-er is so big it can be hard to get around. Also the steering is rather sloppy, I've noticed it in every F150 I've driven.

Off-road in a 2WD is stupid, hes saying a truck is supposed to be able to go offroad, but without the 4WD even as an option you cant. Hes british, he dosent understand americans DO only want to go fast in a straight line and be done with it.

I still like my truck, and I'd love to get a lightning if I could afford it.
