Fall rocks, at least for me it means no more 150* weather!! Last night was 80 and I thought I was gonna have to put a jacket on! So going from 150/100 to 105/75 highs and lows freaking rocks!

No 3rd-gen for me but I have owned an '83 Berlinetta, '88 IROC (miss this car to this day), '88 IROC Vert, '85 IROC. I would love to find a '88 or '89 5-speed car to use as a LS1/T-56 project I have been wanting to do for a while now. I want another one!

Doesnt look bad, its not brown or black or odd colored. It just doesnt have the new red tranny fluid that is did when I first changed it. It had about 4 years and 4k miles on it so time wise it is time for a change.

its sweet too! I will have to try the 1 quart over trick and see if that works. After I change it, used to be bright red for the longest time now it is a dull red.

not since I added the cooler, I run it right at the line, running in park on a level surface. May change the fluid/filter though since it was not as red as it used to be. May put a deep pan on while I am at it.

Who knows, went through so many trannies before you could have gotten a group price all by yourself. May pull my tranny next year and bring it to Ohio with me for him to go through, 2-3 is starting to flare in mine.

Those who knew me and my 1g AWD know that it saw numerous 5-6k launches and I NEVER had tranny problems. Sure the stock clutch took a hell of a beating but when I sold the car over 2 years after all the racing I did in that car it still had the same clutch and drove just fine as a daily. It is all in how you drive these cars and take care of them. My biggest problem with the car was rusted brake lines, other than that the car never failed me and I still regret selling it.
