Actice Duty U.S. Air Force June 16th 2002-Present Currently Serving as a Vehicle Maintenance Technician in the 96th Logistics Readiness Squadron, Eglin Air Force Base FL. I am currently an E-3 (Airman First Class), and next month I am being promoted to E-4 (Senior Airman). So far in my 2 years of service I have had many different experiences, good and bad, but overall I am very happy with what I do.

I think it is typical of 80's American cars to have alot more torque than horsepower, TPI cars, Mustangs, Buicks they all had low horsepower but alot more torque

What I dont get is the camera shots outside of the car, unless the guy in the backseat got out real quick, or it was staged and they had another camera guy waiting for them.

I remember reading somewhere that a Turbo RX8 is in the works, something about a electronically assisted turbo.

We don't even get a channel down here that has Howard on in the mornings. Can't say I really miss him, although we do have Lex and Terry, who I think are alot funnier than Howard for one simple reason, drunk bitch friday!

Well we made it thourgh Ivan, we evacuated so we didn't sit through the storm but I hear that it was a very bad storm to try and stay through. Our house was virtually untouched as was most of the housing here on base, minor structural damage but we did have some major tree damage, alot were snapped, broken, uprooted, and one was even bent (literally bent no cracking just bent over). We finally got power back so I thought I would make a post letting you guys know everything is ok.

Well my area is being evacuated. Ivan is expected to make landfall between here and Pensacola, which is about 60 miles. We are going to be hit pretty hard I have a feeling, luckily I will be about 280 miles away. Guess it is a good thing that we got renters insurence or else would probably lose everything.

If Eglin gets wiped out, as in no longer functional as a base, that may happen.

Suck real bad, this would be the third one this month to hit Florida. Luckily where I am (close to Alabama on the panhandle) we have been spared by Charlie and Frances, but Ivan seems to be heading straight for us. Yet another reason to hate this shithole, if it's not hot and humid, it's raining fucking cat and dogs, or a Hurricane. I will keep you guys updated but most likely we will be evacuated and I won't be near a computer for a while. Kind of ironic, the US military, the most powerful force in the world, will run and hide from mother nature without a fight.

Don't get me started on who makes what they deserve. Being in the military I see my fair share of lazy people. Some are guys that are the same pay grade as me and do half as much work. Those guys piss me off the most. The others are the higher ups that don't do a thing but walk around and sip on their coffee mugs all day and are told by other higher ups they are that rank by mistake or could test well enough to make that rank. But I guess that is how it goes and I can't change it a bit. Hopefully one day I can get my degree and recieve my commission, until then I will live with it being just the way things are.

The Mustang was originally brought out to steal sales away from the Corvette, the Camaro was then brought out to steal sales away from the Mustang. I think we will be seeing the same thing over again.
