NAPA sells STEEL compressoin fittings just for brake lines and thier high pressure. Brass ones could give you a problem. just make sure the line that you are splicing is good. On the other hand new would probably be better, but I have used the steel comp fittings with good luck

I bought a 96 STS with bad head gaskets, and need to get the block timeserted (essentially a strong heli coil) but I dont have the kit. I would gladly pay somebody to rent the tool fom them, or to even come to my shop to do the inserts. Call me at 570 8336 if anybody has the tool. Thanks Chris

98 LS1, 72,000 miles no oil issues, no piston slap, car has 85,000 miles, much of which has been replaced( wheel bearings, bushings etc.)

1988 Turbo 2 RX7 converted to LS1 six speed power. Conversion is 5 years old, and has logged over 20K miles. A stock LS1 and T56 powers this car to 12.69 @ 113mph on the street tires. Enkei RPO1 17" wheels KYB AGX adjustable struts, stainless brake lines with hawk pads, slotted rotors, 2 1/2" aluminized dual exhaust with edelbrock stainless mufflers, Griffin radiator, Full 10 speaker sound system alpine deck and 3 old school fosgate amps. All guages operate correctly, and car drives like a factory car should. 28 MPG is the normal for this car around town. It hasa $5000 new paint job by Sharks automotive in 2005 and is all around nice. Red with gray interior. You will have the only one in town. Price $14,500 I will get some pics as soon as possible.

Straight title, sorry no pics, but the camera or computer wont download them. Looks like any other white "01 Frontier though. No scam or anything, looked on Kelly Blue book and the value of the truck is $5300, deduct for tailgate missing and higher mileage and came up with $3500 for a no haggle sale. The truck is clean inside and out.

If you consider rebuilding the engine to new or near new specs, the crate engine is a bargain. Sure, you can re-ring and re bearing a 302 cheap, but most of the parts that you will put back in will be above 100K mile parts. This isnt usually bad for the money, but definately not as good as having a factory machined new engine.

Front and rear seals are 1 piece seals that require pulling the trans (for the rear), although there is also an oil pan gasket that may be leaking. This doesnt require removing the trans. Also check for corrosion or rust through on the pan itself.
