  1. We sold our home. Moving out the 31st New home will not be completed until September. What is everyone doing for storage these days? Taking into account our new home is up near NorthStar (10 minutes north of Polaris). I looked into pods, looking at like $190 a month (is this reasonable?) or so from the looks of it. I really like this method of storage as I would like to pack once and unpack once. I have never had to use a storage solution but we have a fair amount I need to hold for 4-6 months, looking for some advice.
  2. Large dogs tend to have equal but different issues. I would say "generalizing" breeds would be a better statement. So hows pooch Cram?
  3. Thanks! And anytime you want to ride, shoot me a text or call 614-395-8163! Just got back from riding 5 days in San Diego, rode my palomar! 111 mile ride 10,500 feet of climbing! Caad's are nice wheels! Here is mine bike but on topic who wants a mower!
  4. We are now in contract with a closing date of March 31st on our current home. The new house will not be done until October, and I wont need a mower of this caliber even once I move (downsizing to a .7 acre lot). I have a one owner (bought brand new) 2015 Kubota Z725KH-60 Zero Turn mower. 60" deck with a 6 inch depth, excellent cut quality, it will lay some serious "stripes". I currently have 2 acres that I use it on, its cuts it in about 45 minutes (fair amount of trees and such) +-. Very comfortable and stable. I tested a comparable Deere and it wasn't nearly the ride quality and "durable" feeling as this Kubota IMO. Anyway, I need to sell it with in the next 30 days so as I do not have to store it move it ect. Currency has 145 (ish) hours on it in perfect condition, no tears in the seat barely any signs of use age on the deck, blades could use sharpened to start the season is about all. Maintenance is up to date and was done by EVO Ag (part of the free add on buying new). Questions please let me know, asking $6900, I can deliver it as well. I can text photos but is this mower, and link to more information http://www.kubota.com/product/Z700/Z700.aspx
  5. Man, best thing I have seen you do in a long time Cram. Good job.

  8. Hey Aaron, call my good friend Jon Moore - 614.398.0259 - He will get you a fair deal more along the lines of pricing I think you are after. It was always good working with you at IPS hopefully the trucking/logistics gig is still treating you well! http://www.moorespeedperformance.com/contact
  9. I went this route (LVP) in my new home, and currently having all hardwood in my home. Main reason is , four dogs, two toddlers. Our floors are taking a beating, and while I can refinish and the like, its a pita... Bamboo is nice, i would roll the dice on it if its something you will be out of in a year or two anyway. Ive installed some, it laid easy with staples. The stuff I laid did knick up a bit easier then I would have guessed however it added to the look and was still pretty nice.

  12. I have had this for about 7 years now, and it was just way to powerful for my home I moved into, and I never got around to finishing my basement. We are moving soon and looking to just sell off some items. I have this setup Harmon Kardon AVR635 7.1 receiver https://www.cnet.com/products/harman-kardon-avr-635/review/ Information on it here above In addition I have a 7.1 infinity beta speaker setup with the 15" powered subwoofer. It was the best system best buy and circuit city carried for years, however it is a little older now. http://www.hometheaterhifi.com/volume_12_1/images/infinity-beta-BetaSeries.jpg It looks identical to the setup above. Two floor standing front speakers, 4 bookshelf (2 on the side 2 in the rear) one center channel and one powered subwoofer. I have no idea what this stuff is worth anymore but I am open to offers, I would like to get $600 on all of this receiver included with remote.
  13. All very accurate, and I share a similar sentiment. ** The only catch I would say is that the only real equity you can gain in a home value is doing work on your own, that is the "savings" your investing. Like above, we did a expensive kitchen , granite, painted cabinets soft close double oven yadda yadda, however I did enough of the work on my own to net up our investment cost, but not by much. Also dont over invest in your home relative to others in your direct market. In other words don't go ham on upgrades to your 150k home to think you can make it worth 250k, when all the other homes are only still selling for 150k...Or dont build a 500k house in a 100k neighborhood, common sense so to speak. You will not see the return. But by all means if you plan on staying, upgrade away, with the knowledge you may not get out some of the money you have spent. I also will note that home equity is still cheap money right now, in fact it is still the cheapest imo.
  14. Thanks, Trying to "pay it forward" to someone who could use it more then me.
  15. I bought this Snap On KRA2306PC tool box back when I was still working at IPS. I took it home when I left 4-5 years ago, and have no need for this anymore. I have got a new box/cabinet setup and am looking to sell this now. It is in good condition. It could use waxed but its free of chips and large dings, there are a few signs of use, but minimal. All the slides, draw locks work perfect, I have the keys as well to the box to lock it. Its snap on so its guaranteed. I think $650 for CR members is a fair price. I have a cargo van and can deliver/move it for you if you need (inside a reasonable distance from my home in southern Delaware). PM me for more details if you like, I do not have the rubber top mat anymore I will say that, lost it moving in the house a long while ago.
  16. You mean they get the plans to the death star? GTFO I enjoyed it, I enjoyed TFA better however. Just my .02 this movie was fun to fill in the story line b/w episode 3 and 4. However knowing the "outcome" kind of minimized suspense for me and or learning something new in the story.
  17. Keith, You can list your house and place in the contract a detail where you can not move until you find a new one so to speak, some form of contingency. Granted most buyers right now are move in ready and that could hurt a potential deal. And vice versa you can start shopping now and "buy a home" on and offer contingent on selling your home, however the buyer may decline the offer depending on their timeline. We are in contract with a builder, however I have and out in the contract should our current home not sell for the builders/my realtors market analysis price. AKA everyone thinks the home is worth say 100, we are not forced to sell for less then 100 by our choice, so we can bail on the home build and get our deposit back. Most builders will do this (beyond custom custom builders) as they will just convert the home into and inventory home and sell it quickly. Just some basic protection so I dont get screwed and end up with two homes.
  18. Bump your budget to $315k and buy my house - 2 acres, 1 acre fenced in for dogs, 2300 sq ft - all new kitchen deck blah blah blah. I already have the permit ready drawings to add on a 3 car garage in addition to the two car garage! Right by Glenn Ross Golf course. But in all seriousness the markets inventory is low, and causing this "inflation"along with cheaper money to borrow. Rates will rise slightly and slowly and this will slow the price increases as borrowers cant afford quite as much. You will not see home prices change much soon though. However you also will not see home values increase as rapidly as they have over the last 12-24 months. Many areas have see 7-12 percent back to back year increases, you will see the correction to traditional 1-3% appreciation soon. I believe the market is just finally seeing the correction from the last housing slump and we are back to realizing real home values. The prices over the last few years have been incredibly cheap, historically so; the market was bound to correct this and it is doing so. We are building a home currently, as mentioned above $/sq ft is a similar ratio to used home sales (cheaper for us and what we want), and I believe if you build in the right area in town you can gain even further appreciation, location location location. Predict the next Powell / NA / Ect. My .02, Galena, Northstar, Sunbury, Plain City, all good areas right now but just my .02. I say buy something you can put some equity into (sweat and money) and borrow while the rates are cheap still, pay the extra principle on the loan to cut the amortization and deduce your tax burden with the interest deduction. You still will be in a better net wealth position, IMO then if you are renting even if it is not your dream home. Finally the only fear of buying high is not being able to "hold" the home to ride a slump out. The surroundings of the current housing market are pretty solid. Buy now, tight deal!
  19. Okay, well played. Lauren still is clueless, look we agree again. Carry on.
  20. Did I type something wrong? I stated Fickel is good for OSU, and I would not like loosing him was inferred.
  21. I share this sentiment... While Charlie would likely do fine, I really dont think loosing Fickel would be ideal at this point, he has done pretty well for The OSU.
  22. We do our marketing board meetings at eddies, seems to work well.
