  1. Saw it, I agree it is pretty clear there is something not quite right. Fact the matter is your brain is a lot more delicate then we like to think it is...even if you "feel" okay these are like butterfly effects rippling through out your life.
  2. Bump looks like he did have CTE (which is no surprise at all). The human brain was just not engineered to handle what many of these athletes do to it in their respective sports. http://espn.go.com/action/story/_/id/15613973 Much more will come out now with action sports athletes, snow and skate boarders, ect ect.
  3. LJ cant be wrong. You have not paid close enough attention YA HEARD.
  4. Orange rd play ground and shelter house behind the pool (which is actually off 23). We did a party there, plenty to do, grilled some stuff, ate, kids had fun, cost zero (well besides food)
  5. I live in southern Delaware / Lewis Center; right by Glennross golf course. With that said, property this far south is on the higher side, and lots of lots are suddenly popping up as investors seek to cash out on the current demand. You will likely have to head a ways north to get a fair price. JP also makes a fair point, right now it may actually make sense from a cost perspective to build, assuming you can get a plot for a fair price. Just do the math. Builders, diyanni homes is building a home for a friend down the rd, he loves them, and says its been very easy. Another friend built with New England over in Powell and he had a good experience, it just took a fair amount more time then they estimated (pretty normal). American Heritage is building 4 doors down right now, I walked though it, looked decent, more builder grade stuff and menu shopping it seemed. http://www.ich-builders.com/ Frank was and old customer of mine at IPS, he just built a house on our road, it was pretty nicely built and looked very nice inside.
  6. Brent used to do it at IPS when I worked there with our equipment, we used it even on Marks vette manifolds and hot parts. It was a little more involved and expensive but frankly worth it from my dealings around it. We however only did the black coating, none of the chrome or anything else, it was the only one that held up and did its purpose correctly. I would offer it, we did a lot of turbo parts and manifolds back when I was working at the shop.
  7. What I find amazing is our ability to just search the web for problems on all of our appliances and then we can use our "car skills" and general wizardy to fix most of these issues. I had our bosch washer throw some door latch codes and some other things yadda yadda. I googled up a storm, found my answers, did some work, and fixed no parts necessary, just 2 hours of time. Pretty cool all said and done. Same thing with our double wall oven, threw a common code, easy fix, just a breaker reset, phewww. Would have never known with out the interweb! Thankfully a lot of people post about their repairs, I should do that more often to reciprocate the benefits to others down the line...Oh well.
  8. I use weed and feed like brian described when the grass is damp. I also spot treat with I believe orthos dandelion spray with a back back sprayer. this seem to kill them and then the combo of weed and feed keeps them away for good. I have a hill side which used to be a sheet of gold. now I get about a dozen each spring, about it. it did take time. I would get a spray and target them as they pop up, then just do the normal healthy lawn stuff to get them from coming back, my .02.
  9. I race MTB's and Road Bikes, but started off road. I ride to Phase 1 and 2 do laps and come home all the time 20-35 miles, no problem. COMBO (central ohio mountain biking assocaition) has been doing trail work at both Phase 1 and Phase 2. Phase 1 got a lot of love at the tail end of the season last year, it needed it. Phase two is still fun and quick, but I would say are beginner friendly and a great workout if that is what you're after. There is also the Mohican (1 hour north) mtb trail, 23 miles of some of the best single track in the midwest, awesome trail. Maybe work your way up to this one, although you can ride shorter loops. Chesnut ridge out in Canal Winchester, another COMBO trail, very fast, very fun, and in great shape. Dillion State Park out east, rocky, challenging, 14-16 miles of trail. There is a trail out by newark slips my mind, Lake Hope, Scioto Trails, AEP trails in zanesville awesome. The thing is MTB to be is much more interesting then the road, I dont mind loading up, make it a day, its awesome. You stop thinking about anything other then staying on the bike, intense focus (as to make certain you do not hit a tree). I love the road as well, but from purely a pain perspective, I only enjoy going fast on the road, vs I can enjoy just putting around in the woods. Berto lives over in Brown country IN. that is a trip to make, trail system is epic, great weekend to camp and ride! Any way my only advice is if you really want to do MTB get a decent bike spend 800 or so, you wont regret it. The el cheapos just suck so hard they take any enjoyment out of it IMO with issues all the time, heavy, handle like rubbish, ect ect. Get a good helmet pedals, adn practice its a great time. (Im biased obviously, I already have about 2000 miles in this years lol) Also dont ride if the trail is muddy, let it dry please...It fucks it up when its soft and wet, better to just wait a day to not rut it all up...

    Apple Vs. FBI

Well thats America these days, the path to least resistance, not the path needing to be taken. I would imagine they really got in the phone however, it seems it wasn't rocket science to get into this particular phone and had been done across the globe.
  11. Each home its own llc to keep them in lower tax brackets, and then claim passive income? I was using HHH group off henderson, their pricing was fair, their results were average. However they did not give me much value or ask many questions about what I could be doing unless I went out on my own and learned about new tax strategies. I have since switched this year, however I have little feedback yet other then advise from other business owners whom had success. My .02 is like Clay mentioned and I realized this year. Does your CPA work for you, or are you working for him? Your CPA needs to be giving you advice, ideas and strategies, not just Paying 300 and filing your taxes. Paying 300 for just getting it done versus say 500-750 for getting it all done and lowering your burden by a fair amount is well worth the ROI.
  12. Sure. I will be honest, I do not really know about this issue here in Columbus, so you could be right; I will try and look for some news on that as a local issue. Obviously I know like most about the Somalis and their failures for assimilating to America/Ohio...Calling it a failure indicates as if they tried, however it is clear that is (by and large) not the case. A nicely thought policy carried out with complete ineptitude, which is standard for the majority of public operations IMO. Circling back to Drumpf and the Brussels rhetoric. He clearly knew as most of the intelligence services around the world how Brussels specifically the Molenbeek district was a "hell hole" and ISIS"s home away from home (Raqqa). It should have come as no surprise that much of the terror happening in Europe is linked to this area, they lost control under poor policy and social justice bullshit. I just dont mind some of the crass coming from Drumpf, these fuck heads running for example Beligum, need to pull their head out of the sand, and stop pretending to masquerade around failed policies. I loved NBC's first analysis of the attack linking drumpfs comments and stating "this attack could give more fuel to the right wing in Europe, and cause major shockwaves"...Well yeah no shit clowny mcdumbfuck, turns out policies allowing terror cells to operate in your capital didn't turn out to good either. Blows my mind. Back the subject why vote for Trump. I know people say change for the sake of it...Really I wouldn't mind that idea either even though Trump gives me the creeps, but that might just really be what America needs; it sure as fuck doesnt need another Clinton. Especially when you have cronies like Obama and his buddies just fucking running rick roll on the American taxpayers with no checks or balances. Example Eric Holder. Thanks. http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/news/eric-holder-wall-street-double-agent-comes-in-from-the-cold-20150708
  13. Right but do they know how to keep them together for very long...Thats more interesting imo, kinda like the Switzer model of how he builds cars that seem to hold up and push boundaries. Their 2r, and X cars are pretty freaking cool, however I have yet to hear many "good" stories about durability...More stories about lot-o-issues; Which I would argue is par for that level, however its pitched differently IMO from the UGR camp. Fast none the less.
  14. Ironically so would 95% of investment funds. Index funds over time have for the most part proven better net returns then "private guru managed" funds as it would turn out. #drumpf I do like how he bad mouthed Brussels as a hell hole in January and everyone cried and moaned about how he's xenophobic, and blah blah blah, and then we have now realized it was a hell hole oozing terrorists...He nailed that one.
  15. Reaction to the capture of the paris attacker? Let Drumpf wipe em out lolz

    Move To Cali?

I would advise you not play it "safe" necessarily with concerns on cost of living persay. If its something you really want to do, and the career path looks ideal, and your wife if committed and can gain employment go for it. (assuming you can make fair compensation) You do not get to where you want to be with out a little risk/reward. It doesn't have to be permanent, but it does need to have projection IMO, albeit like anything you make of it what you put into it...
  17. Yes, Mike is great. Funny thing is his personal shop is very clean and tidy, in stark contrast to the shop in Delaware.
  18. I guess I am going to be the next person to see if I can snag it...My 03 TL driver got totaled last week, just need a new free way car.

  20. errr "Myth: The EPA’s proposal only affects medium- and heavy-duty vehicles. The EPA inserted the problematic language into a rulemaking that focuses on medium- and heavy-duty vehicles, however, the rulemaking also includes a section entitled “Miscellaneous EPA Amendments.” The language affecting “vehicles used solely for competition” (i.e., racecars) was a “miscellaneous EPA amendment” and would, in fact, affect all light-duty vehicles, not just trucks. " Keep reading I guess. The debunks from Sema have and agenda, but it is cited the language pretty clearly, and there is and should be real concern... Kinda like a friend said "Such a rule is akin to entering a room full of smokers, and admonishing a singular smoldering matchstick in an ashtray. There are entire oceans of bigger fish to fry." The EPA is going after the lowest hanging fruit as to not really change anything.
  21. I am not preaching the sky is falling...I don't honestly believe the EPA is dumb enough to go out and fine every Tom Dick and Harry, however they will go after the suppliers and effectively choke off the industry, that I can picture. Also i am not so sure it only applies to heavy duty trucks, and I see Geetos quoted definition, it will be interesting to see what they expand upon in July http://www3.epa.gov/otaq/climate/documents/hd-ghg-fr-notice.pdf Start On page 862 if you're interested. It takes a minute to decipher.
  22. Essentially they are saying sure buy a Hell Cat...Change the intake on it removing the hydrocarbon pad inline and it is a "race car" now, to the scrapper? This has been the movement for years; so I am assuming it is now getting more official. Ask Katech why they wont install a intake on your brand new Corvette, their reply will be because they will be fined by the EPA for emissions control device modification. . .Same this goes for MANY big time OE performance companies, and how they all are doing only specific installs on certified items, they are very regulated (thanks SEMA lolz) So they are not going to say you cant make a production VIN a race car specifically however, if you altered its OEM emissions control devices (EGR for example), well now its to the scrapper, or fines whatever? I think we do have to get real about emissions, however this is a silly knee jerk code to try and do so...I'd venture cows do more harm then race cars.
  23. Nah he used to be a giant dick, now he is a medium sized dick.
