Check out Chippewa Square in Savannah, that's where they filmed the bus stop scenes in Forrest Gump. Crystal Beer Pub is also a must. (We were in Savannah last week when we drove my Grandparents car down for them while they flew).

My friends and family bought me admission for a seat that the Bass University classes yesterday at the Fishing Expo for my birthday back in Nov. Wife knew the date of the event and was fine with me going. We don't partake in the Hallmark holidays anyway, so it wasn't a big deal.
