  1. getting de-modded for not knowing where to post?
  2. Need fenders and doors. If you have any or any other body stuff for a first gen, post pics and a price. Thanks edit-also looking for at least two 15" gm rally wheels. Don't need caps or centers
  3. seems to be fixed now. Well, it hasn't done it yet. Changed the air filter too, it was pretty nasty.
  4. she was going 64 in a 45. Suck it up and pay the thing. Stop driving like a moron.
  5. ok, great. I'm going to change plugs and wires today and see where that puts it. What's better, changing plugs while it's cold or warm? I've always done it cold but guy at advance said warm is best.
  6. no check engine light and the car still runs great overall
  7. this is what I was worried about. Is it safe to assume the timing belt is fine gearhead? edit-was told these neons are bad for the threads coming out with the spark plug? Any tips to avoid this if true?
  8. I don't think autozone sells it either. What's this O'reilys carquest you speak of?
  9. Checked the local advance but all they had was Bondo. I've heard horror stories about ordering online.
  10. how many places did you call? I've always heard it's easier to get scheduled into the one in Jackson a lot faster than the Columbus one.
  11. always when I'm broke. Oh well, shit's went downhil over the last year or so anyways.
  12. When I had my explorer done they just checked to make sure that a. I had all of my receipts. b. That is was repaired properly(guy said they just make sure parts aren't hanging off, etc) and was safe for the road. c. That the horn, turn signals, lights, etc worked. Took about 30 minutes in there and out. Hope you're not in a hurry as they're usually pretty backed up. I got lucky and the one on 40 outside of Zanesville had an opening a couple days later. They shut down though. edit-wtf old thread haha
  13. would bad plugs/wires/coil cause it do do that though?
  14. it's def. popping through the TB. Let off the gas and it stops, give it more fuel and it keeps popping. Wires look weathered, no white stuff around the coils. Kinda weird that it just started out of the blue like that.
  15. http://smiliesftw.com/x/hsugh2.gif I plan to drive it tonight. I posted this now to see if any one had any thing to check just based off of what I typed.
  16. 1998 Neon 2.0 129k Doesn't do it all the time and just started yesterday. Seems to do it when the transmission kicks down, or you're going up a hill or something and it's on a strain. It'll start jerking(missing?) for a couple seconds and sometimes makes a sound like it's backfiring through the TB. Just one pop then lines itself out and it's fine again. It's my girlfriends car. I haven't drove it yet but she says she can feel it in the pedal when it "pops." Not sure how long it's been since it's had a tune up or anything.
  17. I'd guess it was college kids after leaving a bar in the area.
  18. why would you automatically assume he is a child molester lol
  19. wtf people still use limewire?
