  1. Avira. Just right click the taskbar icon
  2. probably be cheaper from a place like pick n pull
  3. I've used it faithfully for years as well. I download a lot of scripts, etc from warez sites everyday. Seen a thread where people were talking about AVG not picking up as good as it used to and that Avira was king so I decided to install it on a separate computer. Everything I'd download on one computer I'd download on the other as well. Avira was picking things off left and right where AVG would let them slide. I know some things are false positives but these were worms. For what I do on a daily basis Avira has proven to be best for me. AVG is pretty bloated now days too I'd say read up and use which ever one you think would do you best http://forums.cnet.com/5208-6132_102-0.html?threadID=284162 http://www.hwdot.com/avast-home-vs-avira-antivir-personal-vs-avg-free-can-i-use-all-3-apps-on-one-pc/
  4. doesn;t matter what he drives. It could had been a Ferrari, that was a douche move
  5. I think you missed this little part. "She has been begging me to let her help with the car " Kid deserves a chance if she's truly interested. What makes the boys any different? One day would determine whether or not she does have interest or she just feels left out.
  6. She's 7 dude. she's got plenty of time to be lady like. Think of it this way. the tougher she is the less likely she'll let some dude push her around later in life. I grew up with 4 sisters, one of the 4 was always into cars, meaner than shit and far from a lady. This all changed once she hit high school.
  7. yea, fight it and bring pics. Better yet, make a small video of that section of the road.
  8. So wait you're trying to "program" her into being lady like? I don't have kids so if you feel my opinion is worthless I understand, but, just let her be herself and if that means being tomboyish so be it. Why not let her join in? She could easily be better at this sort of thing than her brothers are. Give her a go at it for a day and she may not like it at all. You could also throw in a curveball and maybe send her and her mother off some where to do lady things, just the two of them. I hope like hell when I have kids that they are interested in this type of stuff, regardless of their sex. edit-just seen your reply above mine. I vote give her a day to see if she actually likes it or not. she may just want to be part of the group more than anything. If she don't like it I'm sure her and her step mother could find plenty of things to do together so she doesn't feel left out.
  9. 404 country road Anyways, I've known a few people out here charged with this shit before and it gets thrown out every time. Is it possible that he was driving on the far left side, rather than in the middle?
  10. should be a hand clutch. That's a very friendly price
  11. #3 rod was notorious for messing up on these. Pretty clean cavalier, shouldn't last long. There's a few $200-$300 engines on cl too. Is it the 2.2 or 2.4?
  12. AVG used to be, but now sucks. I like Avira the most
  13. Marshall's has one for $99 but I fucking hate that place and it's long wait. I haven't even priced a clutch yet edit-$92 at advance for a clutch set http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_Clutch-Set-Perfection_5332834-P_244_R|GRP60006_272073576___
  14. tht's what I was afraid of. I should prolly toss a new clutch in too right?
  15. sucks dude. Now would be the best time to toss some spindles or some coils in it since you'll already have it apart. cl people love trades by the way
  16. http://columbus.craigslist.org/pts/1335407574.html there ya go
  17. 1991 s10 2.8 5speed. 185k miles. When I bought this at the end of last summer(180k) I was told it had a new clutch from advance and a transmission bought from a salvage yard at 170k miles or so. I have never had a problem with neither until now. Went to pull out yesterday and I couldn't get 3rd gear to catch. shifter would go into 3rd but it acted as if it was in neutral and made a sound similar to what is in the video. After stopping and trying to go again the truck went fine as if nothing happened. Couple miles down the road, in 5th cruising 65-70 on an old country road it did the neutral thing again, the noise and started jerking like the rearend wanted to lockup. Push in the clutch and she rolled fine. Had it towed home and now this is all I get from it. This is what happens when I let the clutch out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YbESNmW6V4M edit-Here lately I have noticed that 5th gear seemed a little too easy going into. almost no resistance.
  18. find some springs and spindles from an extreme to toss on it
  19. I think my plans just got ruined. Pretty sure my transmission in the s10 went out today. clutch still feels good and doesn't make any noise putting it in gear but after I let out the truck won't move and it just makes a grinding sound. Will be making a thread once the tow truck makes it here
  20. it was the cluster. found one at Marshalls for $15. Drove 45 minutes to get there, waited for an hour and a half and still no part9was 20 or so others waiting too). fuck that place. Ended up paying $35 for one at a local yard.
  21. I've done plenty head gasket before, just not on a Ford. No swap plans, would just serve as a beater. It's only $750 and I'm not sure I want it. With that being said: http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/1327676414.html
  22. How hard are these? I'm not a ford guy so I don't have much experience with them but I found a good looking mustang that needs head gaskets(leaks out exhaust) for $750. Not sure if the prie is firm or not. It's only a v6 and has high miles, 170k http://images.craigslist.org/3na3m03l35O85Q05Sc98h389d957e6fc61ce3.jpg
