have you ever even seen a touring car race..? more than 1/2 the field is RWD cars, not all of them BMWs... low speed..?

Okay guys, read all the posts. I wouldn't have rear-ended him, I would have t-boned him, broadsided him, crushed the passenger side of his car. There is no way in the world anyone would have thought it was my fault. I was west bound on E.N. Broadway and he pulled out of the lot for the abortion clinic at High, stopped with his front end blocking my lane and then rolled a little further into my lane.</font>this is CR, no one actually reads the entire thread... tongue.gif

oversteer... most of these cars have a lot of understeer dialed in at the factory. a bigger (within reason) rear bar should actually help even out the car's handling... for anyone not familiar with these cars, the ends of the sway bar are bolted directly to the rear lower control arms, with no bushings or linkage. the factory bars that are known to break have the attachment brackets welded to the rest of the sway bar. the rest are one solid piece iirc and normally don't have this problem... hope this helps... smile.gif

we've owned 3 hondas that i can remember. my brand new civic grenaded a steering rack, my mom's accord kept stalling, and my brother's passport burned a quart of oil every 100 miles... *shrug*

i believe some of the factory mustang rear bars ARE welded. that's why they break... tongue.gif
