  1. Voss has quite a few videos on youtube as well. I dabbled a bit in body language and facial expressions and watching him read people is a blast.

It's not just him either, there are so many others. Voss is great to watch at work though.

I need to sign up for another service like I need a hole in the head but thanks for the link.

FWIW Youtube TED talks have so much content I'm wondering if I would use it?

I understand, but this is to teach, not to educate. big difference. If you want to understand how others do, listen to TED. If you want to practice something, Masterclass.

  2. Having a bit more (not a lot) of extra time on my hands lately, Masterclass has gotten my attention. I started by watching Chris Voss's class on negotiation, and I'm hooked. I plan to listen to more classes since I drive a lot for work and this might be better for me than audio books. Obviously, some classes will require the visuals but some may not. Has anyone else started any courses? Success or failure stories?
  3. I did something similar to my RX7 and the results were very noticeable, even to the point my co drivers felt the car was balanced too favorably to the front.

That's EXACTLY what I was thinking of as soon as I saw your post. I never saw the car after you added the sheetmetal like in your pic above. Make sure you have the clearance for everything mounted to the front of the engine. :)

  4. Link

Your link is dead, but are you talking about the small belt? I've heard the same thing, from people who sharpen knives for a living, but they also said you need to practice on knives you don't care about first until you get used to it.

  5. Takes money to make money. I just want interest rates to sky rocket so I can save some money more securely.

And I'm hoping you don't get your wish, because I borrow other people's money to invest to make my own money. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=695&pictureid=5572

  6. It’s all RED!!

Buy now or just sit and wait?

If you go by the buy-and-hold method, it doesn't matter. Buy small bits of stock to increase your portfolio over time and it averages out anyway; the market always rises over time.

If you're trying to day trade, you'll probably lose money anyway, so do whatever makes you happy.

To make a significant amount due to a dip, the dip has to be more significant than this one is. That being said, I like GE right now.

  7. +1 for Aarrow, that's who we use for all of our vintage stuff.

They also do gas tanks for anyone reading and needing that service.

I tried to 'like' this post and then realized I was reading CR.

So yeah, anywhere that isn't 1.5 hours from our house? :D

This is COLUMBUS Racing, not MIDDLE OF FUCKING NOWHERE Racing.
