Don't buy a cheap gun like a Hi-point remember you get what you pay for. Vance's is kind of expensive but they do offer 6 months same as cash and that is awsome. What kind of gun are you looking for 9, 40, 45? Choose a name brand S&W, Sig Saur, Glock, Browning etc. Look at all the safety features on each gun and then choose what you are looking for. CPD carries the S&W 4506, 45 cal. 8 in the mag and 1 in the pipe. Best safety feature the gun will not fire if you take the magazine out even if there is a round in chamber. Excellent gun but I wish it carried more rounds my only complaint. Good luck and happy gun hunting. Im jealous I have to wait till fall to get another gun.

Columbus Police

Almost forgot the drunk was ok of course, my partner and I went the hospital and got checked out, nothing broken. However I've been off for the last 3 days because of neck and back pains, and a whole lot of stiffness everywhere.

This was his 3rd OVI, but the last one was 10 years ago. graemlins/nutkick.gif The sad thing is that the car was not his and the insurance company just bought the city a new $70,000 cruiser. The push bumpers took the brunt of the damage but were torn off. Those things are half inch thick steel. I will give more info on the wreck once I find out when the investigation is over.

The bull was not harmed at all, but was pissed off afterwards. The CPD uses the tasers from the same company but ours only have 50,000 volts. Ours will do the same thing to you as the bigger taser did to the bull. By the way I have been tased and it does not hurt, you just can't move for 5 seconds. Much more effective non lethal weapon. I'd rather be tased any day over being maced.

A 45 is a stolen car, a rolling 45 is when you catch them driving the car. Unfortuantly my partner was working in another precinct last night and I have not met any who could out run him, he runs the mile in soething like 5 1/2 min. Oh well I'll get them next time because we all know they will do it again.

So I pull up the intersection at Morse rd and Indianola Ave. I witness a volvo make a U turn on Morse rd and head back E/B. I follow the car and turn on my beacons and activate my sirens to pull the dummy over. He drives for a little bit to find a good place to pull over. The dick turns S/B onto N.4th St. and stops, I air the stop. As I get out of the cruiser the M/W driver and the F/W passenger bail and take off running in seperate directions. graemlins/doh.gif Im airing for back up and the helicopter shows up but they are gone. The girl ran so fast her shoes fell off, the guy lost his shoe and his hat. I got the car which was stolen only about 6 hours before and in the trunk was several car stereos, an amp, subwoofer, and tons of other stuff that they stole from people that night. So if anybody got their stuff stolen last night its in the city property room. FYI write down all of your serial numbers for everything. DUI on Saturday and now a rolling 45 on Sunday not a bad way to end the week.

I could hate the mechanic who screwed me over on my car because he charged me to much. The list could go on and on forever and we would never get anywhere. Hell I should hate you for being a DICK to me but I figure it's just your personality. I enjoy my job every night it is something different and exciting. I like to catch the bad guy who hurt someone. I caught a guy who had child porn, hes faceing up 60 felony counts for possesion of some really sick photos. Now that made me feel real good to arrest him. I see so much bad out there that I should hate everybody. Everyone has a story of why they did what they did, and that its never their fault. People lie to me on a daily basis, its up to me to sort through the bullshit and get to the bottom of story. Its like a game to me sometimes they win and sometimes I do. Ant. Obviosly you are biased towards cops that much is evident. I am sorry that your friend lost his life, I can't comment on the case because I know nothing of it. But I can say that your friend was not killed simply for shits and giggles, as you stated above. There are officers who are not as friendly as others but thats just the personality of the person. ODB 3,000 never said all cops are saints! There is always a bad apple in every bunch no matter what line of work your in. I think you need to seek some professional help to deal with your anger, you might find that you might have a lot less stress in your life. Just friendly advice from a Columbus Police Officer!!!!!

I found out that the man in the video had just shot a deputy sheriff in california after he was pulled over. They were about to question him when he offed himself. The video was released because the family was going to sue saying that the police had killed him. Bet they were shocked. The reason he was not handcuffed was because the detectives will sometimes try to put the person at ease to get them to talk. I'm just glad that he was suicidal rather than homicidal. The area he was being questioned in has another locked door so he was not going to get away. Oh well sucks to be him, saved the taxpayers money.

I will be arresting drunk drivers all night long!!

10 yrs ago I was 23 and had two girlfriends named michelle. Now Im married with children and a mortgage and no more michelle's!!!!

The call went out as a two car wreck on 71 with one car on fire and an officer was trying but could not get to that person because of the flames. Cars from 4 precincts were sent to help but there was nothing they could do. I do know that 1 person was confirmed dead at the scene because AIS was called out, and I do not know about the other 2 if they died at the scene or at the hospital. When I did drive by the scene later it looked real bad. I do know that the jerk responsible, has 2 priors for OVI and that 1 was pending in Judge Barrows in Jan. The jerk is going to be charged with 3 counts of Aggravated Vehicular Homicide. I don't know how fast he was going. The whole speed thing is relative because you figure the 3 guys were going at least 65 and the other guy was probably going around 55 and they hit head on then the combined speed makes for a 120 mph impact. But the drunk always lives and the victims almost always die, it should be the other way around. My prayers go out to the 3 guys families.

Im sorry for for the loss of your brothers friend. I had to work guard duty for the accident we had to shut down 71 in both directions for several hours that night. The dickhead driver is alive and the CPD is pulling guard duty on the bastard waiting till he is released from the hospital, so he can goto jail. He will be charged with 3 counts of Aggravated vehicular homicide. I hope they hang him!!! Theis sucks because we lost the female officer to a drunk driver in early december and then the two kids killed on 670 and now the three guys on I 71, when will people learn if you drink stay the fuck home.

The truck is red and the cap is bright blue. Shes a true beater and her name is CHRISTINE because she will not die!!!!!!!!

My dad went and got a bunch of ads for military schools and laid them on my bed and left a note that stated that I had been accepted and if my attitude did not change then thats where I was going till I was 18 or graduated. If that does not work drive him down town to look at all the homeless people living under the bridges and wandering the streets begging for a handout and ask him if he wants to be just like those people with no education and living on the streets.
