Ya CPD is really not proving to be very helpful so far. I tried to contact the detective that is supposedly assigned to this case and got his voicemail which said that he is off Sundays and Mondays. Well surprise, surprise he wasnt there today and never checks his voicemail either when hes not there I suppose because I heard absolutely nothing from him. The problem is that although there's not much chance anyways of recovering the ipad, with every passing day there's even more chance that its been sold ten times and will not be found. Either way, found or not I want him going to jail. It is a felony and yes I will follow through and push this as far as I can. Fuck that douchebag thief.

Does anybody here work for AT&T wireless? The asshole that stole my ipad has an account with them. I call and verified that today. They said that he is an active customer with them but they won't give me the info. Some help would be more than greatly appreciated.
  3. Well another f'ed up thing about this is that I had find my ipad on this thing right up until I went to meet him at which time I restored the ipad as a help to him so that it would be in a nearly new state again. One good thing is that I found that with his cell phone number I can search a reverse lookup and get his address among other personal info. Once I have his address I will NOT be calling the police again to give them the info. Ill be sending my own police to take care of this faggot. He wont run away with anybody elses possessions. That much I know for sure.
  4. Well other than here I had my ipad for sale on craigslist. I got a call from someone posing as a kid that had to get a ride from his mother to meet me so it seemed very innocent. After talking for a couple days we finally agreed to meet half way between our two supposed living areas of town. We agreed to meet at the McDonalds at cleveland and 270 since it was a public place and had wi-fi available. I had my 4yr. old daughter with me since I decided to pick her up early and spend some extra time with her. The kid that I had been talking to came in and sat down near my table while I was getting food for my lil girl. I went over and sat down in between him and my daughter and we began to talk about the ipad and its features when my daughter dropped her happymeal toy and I leaned down to get it the sorry son of a #$%^& jumped up and ran out the door with my Ipad in hand. I jumped up and ran after him across the parking lot but as we got across the Mcd's parking lot and started onto the next one I realized that I had to either let him go or leave my daughter sitting by herself in McDonalds. Well needless to say I stopped and went back pissed and embarassed to McDonalds. I called the police and there was a nearly perfect picture of him on the video cameras there as well as I have his phone number, which he changed about 20 minutes later. Needless to say cpd was useless as usual. Ill never see it again but on the outside chance that it turns up or I ever see this asshole again I will be in jail for beating the %^&* out of him regarless of age. He was about 6 ft. tall maybe 160 pounds, light skinned black with short cut hair. The cpd officer who was black as well looked at me and said all the male blacks in this neighborhood look like that, so theres nothing I can do to find him around here. Yesterday was such a horrible f'ing day that today just has to be better.
  5. I'm definitely not doubting josh. That may not have come out right. I just like custom stuff, especially bandpasses and transline setups.
  6. You can achieve a more bass from removing the back seats and having a custom box setup done, however it's truly amazing how much sound you do get from the under seat boxes. Normally I advise as Josh did to avoid prefab boxes but the down firing boxes that are made for your truck really slam for what they are and the advantage of not losing any space or seating in the truck. The down firing boxes for your truck are nice as well because since they are down firing you really don't need sound deadening around them and they won't get kicked by rear passengers since they're under the seat firing down. The rest ofmthe install would be the same whether you use a custom box or the prefab in this case. You could have all of it done with the prefab box and if you're not happy with the sound you could then have Josh build you a nice box. He is dead on about the sub info he gave you. The only thing I would change about what he said is that I would absolutely use nothing other than a component set up front. You will get more volume and a much better sound from components than most any coaxs can give you. You will need a pretty shallow sub if you go with the underseat configuration. I'd recommend the Rockford p3 shallow series subs for that setup. They play plenty loud and will handle quite a bit of abuse and power. They also play well in sealed or porter enclosures although they will get louder in a ported box. It would be very very difficult but if josh could build a ported box similar to the prefab sealed boxes that fit under the rear seats in your truck it would be absolutely incredible. If he's going to do your sub setup id be more than happy to work with him and do the front end of the system at the same time. In the front of the newer trucks like yours there's really no need to build very much custom unless you really want something insanely loud. I do agree as well with him that a pioneer double din touchscreen head unit is the way to go and they fit perfectly in your year of truck. I really hope I can help with this system setup and install. I'd really like to see a nice box from Josh. When guys know how to manipulate subwoofers with trick boxes the results can be amazing!
  7. My last system consisted of a Rockford power t2001 and a Rockford power t15004 with a deep cycle gell cell for each amp and Rockford 100 farad cap. On a stock alternator with little upgrade to the charging wires I had no light dim at night and very minimal voltage movement until very near full volume. I did install a digital voltage gauge so that I could monitor the effects on the car. Now my one big advantage was that it was a 5 series BMW so the battery was already in the trunk thus making my longest run of power wire maybe 4 or 5 feet. I will say that before we installed the cap there was quite a but of light dimming at night and about a 1.5 volt drop under heavy volume loads. Once the cap was in ther little to no voltage drop no matter what the volume was set at. Here's one for you guts to chew on. I firmly believe that an RCA line driver makes a huge difference in volume. That's one that I'll put money on for anybody that wants to debate that fact. Allow me to set it up in any system with an aftermarket amp and if it doesn't make a huge difference I'll pay you double what you payed for the line driver. It must be a quality line driver though and I'll back it up with cold hard cash.
  8. Nurvinny you are correct. I did state that it's a good better best scenario. A cap is not a must, that part is obvious however it will help stiffen the amount of voltage going to an amp under heavy music loads. The same reason that nearly every amp built has caps in them is the exact same reason why a system will benefit from having them inline. The more power you can store to release for long heavy bass notes the better an amp will run. Amps with non regulated power supplies benefit the most but even amps with regulated power supplies do benefit from having one. Answer me this guys who doubt me. If caps are not necessary in a system then why do all amplifiers in car audio come with them and the more power an amp puts out generally the more of them there are in the amplifiers build specs. Point blank amplifiers need them for the quick power demands that they put on a system. A cap and an extra battery are by far the way to go in MY OPINION. One can absolutely build a system without either of them being in play but a properly setup system will benefit from the extra reserve power of an extra battery and the stiffened quick release power stored up by a cap. Spljosh I do agree that most of the time there are non name brand alternatives that are cheaper and still work just as good however be careful because sometimes there's a reason for the cheaper price that goes deeper than just a sticker.
  9. Well first mjrsplat I was an installer, a salesperson, and a manager , so your statement is lacking in all credibility. As I stated the kinetic batteries that are a combination of a capacitor and a battery are the best way to go. Moron assholes like yourself that start screaming competition this and competition that are usually total idiots and you prove this thoroughly. He never said he wanted a competition system. He said he wanted a suggestions for a nice system that didn't break the bank. Go to the kinetic website and educate yourself about them before you speak. Yes caps drain quickly but they recharge just as quick thus keeping a more consistent amount of power on hand for an amplifier while a battery provides a longer constant charge, basically a reserve on hand all the time for the amplifiers in a system. Have you ever owned an amp that didn't have capacitors built into it? Well I suppose amps have capacitors built into them because the engineers who designed them are idiots right? The more voltage and the more consistent voltage that an amplifier has provided to it the higher and more consistent power it will provide to a system. Spljosh you seem to know what you're talking about from prior posts but why do you not like capacitors ? I'm just curious. I do agree that a capacitor by itself is a waste of money but in tandem with a nice deep cycle battery it's undeniably useful. Spljosh I don't mind discussing this with you but that other idiot needs to learn a whole lot before he joins this discussion with people who know what they're talking about.
  10. Well first you absolutely need capacitors. Second there's no need at all to lose your backseat unless youre going for an extreme amount of bass. The best power upgrade without replacing your alternator which really isn't necessary in a v8 truck is a kinetic power cell. They come in several different sizes depending on you total amp power output. They are a high brid battery capacitor design that gives the advantages of both in a small compact case the size of an average battery. When you see someones lights blinking like crazy with the bass that's a sign of needing a capacitor. I installed professionally in real stereo shops for about 12 years. (no hokie pokie best buy bullshit). Secondly there are quite. A few really nice boxes that fit under the rear seat in those trucks and provide either space for 2 10"s or 2 12"s. That decision is based soley on what type of sound you want and how much volume you want. As for the door speakers up front you can reuse the factory locations with a small amount of modification behind the scenes and you'll be able to get plenty of sound. A 6.5" component set will fit in the factory location I. The doors just fine. The rear locations don't give you very much size but crossed over properly they can provide nice fill to even out the sound. If you're not happy with the amount of volume or clarity because you have to over compensate for not having the amount of volume you want coming from the fronts then a nice set of kick panels is pretty easy ti build down near the foot rests on each side of the front floor boards. As for radio that's purely personal preference and those trucks will fit just about anything with little or no modification. Their are interfaces although they can get pricey that will allow you to retain onstar, Bluetooth, steering wheel controls etc. Most of the interfaces that allow all if this stuff are in the $100.00 plus range. If you're interested in talking more and possibly getting a quote from me, please feel free to contact me even if it's just some questions so you don't get ripped off or misinformed. Although I don't work for a shop anymore and don't want too, I do installs at home and offer a money back guarantee. If you're not happy with the work you dont have to pay. I could easily do your truck completely setup, tuned, and installed on a Saturday or Sunday, no problem. I'm nit trying to start a pissing war with the other guy that said no capacitor but it's a fact that you'll need one to do it right. It's a good, better, best scenario. Car batteries by nature are made to slowly discharge and recharge. Capacitors by nature discharge and recharge extremely quick thus keeping up with the demand of the beats and such in music. You really need a little of both to get the best results. That's why I recommended the kinetic high brid design. That way all in one case you get capacitance to keep up with the quick draw of the music and the reservrve power of a battery to keep up with the overall needs of the system while playing and recharging everything else. I assure you that you'll be quite happy if you contact me to help with setting this up even if you don't want me to do the install.
  11. Will do, it'll be later this afternoon.
  12. I am selling my 64 GB Ipad. It is in nearly perfect conditon and has been in a leather case since brand new. It will come with a leather case and silver keyboard dock for typing without using the touchscreen. The tablet style just doesnt fit what I need to do as well as not having flash without jailbreaking it really turns me off but some people love them. It works perfectly and has been restored to all factory settings. The battery life is still perfect and has no issues at all holding a full charge. Please call or text me at 614-507-8183
  13. Make sure that whatever room you put the setup in, you able to control the natural light in that room. There are alot of differences in screen material but getting material that has backing to cut down on reflection and light going through it is important as a starting point. By the way ive got a nice projector for sale cheap and am willing to move a bit on the price as long as the offer is reasonable. You will not be dissapointed with this projector.
  14. I am selling this for a friend of mine so questions may take a sec to get answered. He has an EVO 9 Buschur full 3" exhaust that he just took off his car. It is a fullsetup from the turbo back. It does have high flow cat inline as well. It is welded all into one piece so you'll have to bring a truck to get it. He had it on his car for a couple of years so it is used but is in great condition. He never drives his car in the snow so rust shouldn't be an issue. Im not sure if it is stainless or aluminum but at the price he's asking it doesn't really matter.
  15. I've owned an 06 tl and an 09 accord coupe and they are absolutely NOTHiNG alike in the experiences they provide in any way. The accord feels cheap and overall is about as boring as possible to drive. The accord also provides no good feelings from the interior to offset it's boring feelings in every other way outside of looks. The tl in the 04-up body style is absolutely hot. As for driving experience it's better than the accord but it's still a Honda sedan. Interior on the tl is worlds ahead in everyway i can think of. It had a ton of standard really nice features as well as the optional stuff mine was loaded up with. Lastly the materials that were used on the interior, I can't swear are of different makes or if it's the way they were presented but they absolutely feel higher quality and look it too. Overall unless you're considering the newer civic si's there's no comparison between the two vehicles. Tl all day long sir.
  16. Yes most of them can be adjusted at the lens or by simply moving the projector mounting point forward or back away from the wall to get bigger. 7 ft in height is more than enough to create quite a large screen. The screen material is every bit as important as the quality of the projector. I've done several of them lately for customers and you'd be surprised how many people spend thousands and thousands on nice projectors then want to buy cheap screen material thus negating the money they just spent on the projector. It's like building a top of the line high dollar motor then buying an eBay turbo setup.
  17. Aw jones I'm touched you're still expressing your jealousy over my new wheels and car. Thanks for the compliment jones I'm gonna have to agree with the bbs wheels posted above. The classic European step lip is hot on those cars. Is that a turbo model?
  18. Man I've got my 63" mounted on the wall and you can do pull ups all day long from it no issues. I install at least three flat screens a week and I've never had one come down. The whole key as stated above is to make sure you hit the studs. Anchors can work but without hitting studs it's a crapshoot. As for the metal on the mount being thin don't worry it's the way the weight is distributed that makes the difference. I usually find the studs, pre drill the holes with a small drill bit, then usually use bolts that require a 12mm socket and ratchet. After some elbow grease and a small workout you'll have a very solid mount setup.
  19. It depends a lot on where you got the tickets. When I was still doing a lot of driving for my business I got quite a few tickets and the Columbus ones meant very little other than points but I got one in southern Ohio in some Podunk speed trap and they instantly wanted to throw the guy from the big fancy city in jail although cooter and Cletus in front of me got pulled over drunk and fled from the cops only to be told if they did it again the judge would call their mama and get them switched fo sure dis time boys. Basically hope to god they were in Columbus or ya may end up bunkin with the duke boys.
  20. It's not the new slim one. Other than that all I know is that it has a 120gb hd.
  21. I am selling my projector. It has a brand new bulb in it and has been great in the past but my new place doesnt leave me any room to use it. I paid over $2500.00 for it new. I am looking for $500.00 obo. I am willing to deal on the price if someone takes it sooner than later. The model number is LC-XB20. This thing has an incredible picture even in not ideal lighting conditions. The quickest way to reach me is to call or text at 614-507-8183.
  22. I am selling my Guitar Hero for Wii. It comes with the game and the entire guitar setup. Any questions feel free to ask. I have never played it. It came with a system that I bought a couple months ago.
  23. I am selling my Xbox 360 white w/120gb hd. It comes with 2 controllers and the component video cabling for signal. I will throw in whatever games I can find. All ive found so far is lego indiana jones that came with it I believe. The quickest way to reach me is 614-507-8183.
