  1. Very nice bathroom but that took quite a bit of time away from the car getting done. I wanna see that badass car rollin.
  2. Same here I talked Verizon into taking the raging pile of shit they call the droid charge back and giving me a phone that actually works right. I got the bionic also. It so far seems to to do everything well and without shutting down several times a day, dropping calls, not working well with bluetooth, and just overall sucking like the charge did. They sent me four different droid charges and not a single one of them worked right at all, and they all had the same problems. So far I Love the droid bionic. It is unbelievably faster than the charge was too.
  3. Also goto a chiropractor immediately and don't give any statements to the insurance crooks. They will try trap you into saying something that will help them get out of paying you what you're due. I'm not condoning ripping off the insurance companies because that makes all our prices go up but don't let them rip you off either.
  4. I was recently rear ended in my gen. Coupe which I definitely still owe on and state farm cut me a check on site made it out only to me. You just have to simply tell them you're not ready to get the car fixed yet because you don't have time plus you're not sure where you will be taking it. If you do get it fixed I have some good friends of mine own fine line auto body they're work is top notch all the way. If you go there, goto the morse and high location and ask for art. Tell him Pete from Secure and Sound sent you and they'll take care of you far better than anybody else including helping with the crooked ass insurance company.
  5. I AGREE a million bazillion time, that car is absolute sex and them some.
  6. If the legacy is a consideration then why not looking inti G8's, evos, or Mazda speed 6's? There are a lot of choices out there now. Take your time and drive all of the cars that you would even consider. You may find something that you didn't even think of all the sudden become a great deal.
  7. I'd really like to have another brushless e-revo. I loved the one I had and I'm still kicking myself for selling it. Just waiting to find another really good deal before I get another one.
  8. Got-busa it sounds like our DVDs have bout the same car content.
  9. Does anybody like "The Car Show" too? It's no British Top Gear or anything but Im starting to really like this show.
  10. The iPad 2 seems to be quite a bit faster but you can save a good chunk of money buying an iPad 1. Using it for business you don't wanna take the risk of a jailbreak app not working right or your cell provider shutting you down (not likely but possible non the less). Get yourself a 3G wifi iPad 2 and you wont have to worry about issues other than being out of service area. They're worth the price all day long. I use mine for many different facets of my business and there's no doubt that it helps me be quite a bit more productive. Just my 2cents
  11. If they would just get the interiors right I'd be a lot more apt to think about buying at least a gt. I just can't stand the flat boring area around the radio and heat/a/c controls. Gm finally got most of their interiors right so come on Ford, step it up a bit and along with the new drive trains they'd have a solid hit in my mind.
  12. I wasnt completely sure where to post this but I need to find a reasonable price on a bounce house rental for my daughters birthday party. If anybody here has a hookup please let me know. Its in two weeks so time is a bit tight.
  13. No that was Dave Wiggins. That guy was family money
  14. It's amazing how much gold is going for now. I just sold two of my gold chains leftover from a time when I had a bit different taste, and or a lack of taste in general at least jewelry wise. Overall in the two chains I had there was a little over 130 grams in one chain and about 110 grams in the other chain. I had them for about four years so the rise in value between when I bought them and sold them was HUGE.
  15. Before you can figure out which equipment to use, you first need to decide what you want as an end result. If you're not planning on upgrading your internal speakers in the car too then you should definitely use the single 10 as that will add a nice amount ofmsound without being overpowering. The kenwood amp should work fine but again it depends on what ohm the Jl 10 is. Most of Jl subs will have labeling on the back of them that will tell you the ohm load that they will put out. If it's a single 4ohm sub or a dual 8ohm sub you should be fine. On the other hand the kickers shouldnbe pretty loud in the right box so you have to decide what you want as an end result first.
  16. I still haven't seen an overall better athlete than Bo Jackson to this day. If he hadn't been injured I believe he would have been the most dominant football player of our time.
  17. I just had the front end of my gen.coupe repainted due to rock chips . I'm really considering putting some sort of protection on the front area of the car so if anyone does this or has a hookup please let me know ASAP.
  18. I need a stock intake box or somebody who can make a decent shield out of sheet metal or whatever for my 04 Durango 5.7 Hemi. It has a k&n cone filter on the end of the factory intake tube and when it rains the thing sputters and runs like shit when off throttle. Im not sure how but last time I moved the factory box got tossed in the trash. I've checked every junkyard I can think ofmaround here and just can't find one. Anybody that can work with metal even a little could make a heat/rain shield pretty easily I'm sure. HELP please. I already checked the stealerships and they want waaaaay to much for a new one.
  19. Gen. Coupe LS1 finally becoming a reality, and with boost. This will be a really hard choice between the factory V8 thats supposed to be coming in 2013 or pay mine off and do this. I won't be able to leave the stock V8 car alone anyways so this may make more sense, and now that im single its all my decision for once. Aside from may the height at the very front as Malard mentioned before it looks like a pretty clean fit. http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j2/pete94tsi/ls11.jpg http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j2/pete94tsi/ls12.jpg
  20. Most common thing as far as factory defects are the radiators. The upper part near the cap cracks and other than that as everybody else said if basic maintenance was kept up with it'll be a great dd although slower than hell. They're great in the winter too as long as you put some decent tires on it. I had continental all seasons on my 540 and it did better than some awe cars I've had. My Infiniti fx was horrible in the snow for some reason. If it's a late 2000 you should get the nicer headlights with halos too. I know not all that important but just makes the car look less dated. The stock stereos were the only thing I can remember really hating when I first got mine.
  21. First computer experience was commodore 64, Oregon trail was the coolest thing ever. I still remember waiting each week for a new atari 2600 game to come in the mail. I too remember thinking that the free aol disks you could get at the grocery store checkout lines was the coolest thing ever. The sad thing is I still go into customers homes from time to time that are running windows 98 and using the free aol disks.
  22. Finally mad wit out for the first time. Pretty cool peeps overall. Couple nice rides.
  23. I've never really understood the comparisons to the camaro and mustang. I've always seen it as more of an in between to the z and g37. It's not quite as fast as the z and not quite as luxury oriented as the g. They really do need to work on the price point a bit though. If it's 35,000 or less I'll do it no doubt. Hyundai is really stepping their game up in a major way. I love a lot of the new cars they have coming out.
  24. According to carrbuzz.com and a couple of other sites the Gensis Coupe will get a 429hp V8 as an option for the 2013 model year. Now of course until they "officially" announce it, this could be b.s., but it's been talked about since day 1. Although not even close to the fastest car I've had, I love the well rounded approach if my Gen.. Coupe a lot. Jones you may proceed with bashing now........... Anyways if they do go ahead with the V8 it will be a nearly untouchable rockets ship. Oh well I'm hopin, because that would be the three year mark on my current coupe and the perfect time to trade it in on a new one.
  25. I'll be more than happy to do the uninstall for you. I installed professionally for about 12 years. If you're interested gimme a call at 614-507-8183 and ask for Pete. I can come to the car as well if its not driveable right now.
