been thinking lately about getting into skydiving and am considering buying my own stuff. ive only got 2 dives under my belt, but would obviously start going more with my own equipment. anyone have any tips?

gone through 240, emt-b, and emt-i shcool. in medic school now and im testing all over the state as well as working at a level 1 ED in columbus. make yourself avialable. ride at any department that will let you. talk to any FF you can and get as much info. walk into your local fire department in the afternoon and ask to talk to an Lt.(call before you go in). tell them what your goals are and then pick their brains with all questions.bring a note book for numbers. ask about application processes. For emt/medic stuff CSCC is probably your best bet...the most thorough and the most comprehensive. The teachers are actual professors with 20+ years experience. plus might as well take classes that will count toward a college degree as some departments are starting to require degrees. i think the cost for cscc is $73per credid hour, but since they are a college you can get financial aid. cscc has an emt-b class starting this winter quarter, jan 3rd i think. For Fire go to the fire academy or one of its brother programs. IF you live in franklin county, chances are you wount get into the actual fire academy due to people from all over ohio come to columbus to take it there. with the actual program you live on the campus in dorms, got to class for 12hrs a day, eat sleep and train fire. the program is like 3-4months if and you dont get into the fire academy, look at places that go through the fire academy for training. i went to eastland career. they utilize the fire academy s staff, equipment, tests, and facilities. the only differences are you dont live there, you go for 4 or 5 hrs 3days during the week(in the evening) and 10-12hrs on saturday. the program lasts 5-6mo not sure of the cost for 240 school, but if you get sponsored by a department(them letting you borrow their stuff) you can cut off upo to $1000 (500 save by not having to rent an SCBA from the 240 program and 500 for not having to rent turnout gear from the 240 program.) Go to half priced books or the library and get a book on fire testing. get familiar with the terms of the trade. oh yea, and get ready to get in the best shape of your life mentally and physically...you are preparing to enter a career that demands top performance and nothing less. last i was there for a bachelor party on a wed. night. im not one for strip clubs...something about paying for what could be free, but the girls where def better than average. if the wed night girls looks like they did i cant imagine a Friday or Saturday byob is nice as well

It it where me would only see a doc if i had lost pulse, motor, sensory and/or its disfigured. anything else and they'll more than likely shoot some xrays, confirm its broke and then buddy tape it. thats it. If it was me i WOULD,however, go to CVS and buy some 3m medical tape and buddy tape it. I would tear the medical tape into 1/4-1/3"strips, and secure the injured toe to the next good toe(normally the toe most inward feels the best). secure the injured toe to the buddy toe by wrapping the tape around injured toes "inbetween the joint spaces"(aka not on the joints). Dont wrap it too tightly as to cut off circulation(make it purple, or make it feel like its gone to sleep) when you are around the house, dont wear closed shoes, and try to stay off it. Its going to take 4-8weeks to heal...and it will hurt the entire time.

The incident happened 3 years ago at a cali farmers market. a couple blocks from my GF's sisters apartment very poor judgement on the judicial system. One of the reasons he didnt get jail time was of a heart condition...bullshit. what about the condition of being a single parent with 4 or 5 kids.....that hasent kept anyone outta jail

yea i have had Fitrakis as well....numerous poli sci classes at cscc. hes got some ok ideas, but is excentric to say least. with his far left position on most issues i was a little suprised he is running. he uncovered the battel dumping scandle, he operates his own newspaper has multiple books out and is obviously very active in the community. He does alot of apperances at the Drexel theaters on a extraneous note, his eating habbits are thoes of a pig. while in attempting to walk and talk with him about a couple of issues after class and made the mistake of joining him in the cscc cafeteria. almost lost a finger reaching for a napkin

prime example....this wont work for everyone. and you have to bring in your own personal flavor(adding or omiting based on your strong points). these ideals have worked well for me because i came up with them;they are my trial and error observations that allow me to capatalize on my personal traits.

the more you look, the more you look desperate. Go about your business and do what you want to do. devolpe a hobby besides trying to pick up girls. run, bike, hike. eventually you will find someone with the same interests. dont be a shut in and the obvious dont be afraid to strike up a conversation with ANYONE... its practice and they might have a cute friend. be yourself but incorperate whitty, cinical, decisive, asshole and funny into a unstopeable burrito of smooth. be mean with a smirk on your face. not real mean, but more mean than the last 10guys who hit on them and said the SAME OLD BULLSHIT. pick on her a little...take it back to preschool. what did you do to a gril you liked? you hit her in the arm to get her attention and once you had it you told her straight up you liked her. same deal, minus the assult and battery charges. its something different and they like that. A cute girls are always getting complemented; told they are hot, getting tons of stares shot at her (prolly by guys who have nothing better to do than hit up target at between 10-12) and having guys be intimidated by their looks or their hot shit attitude. Dont be impressed and intimidated. even if you are, suck it up and sure as hell dont let her know. game face baby, its all about the gameface. practice makes perfect. go out one night and lay it down. know you have it in the bag throw a preemptive curve ball and turn her down. not bieng mean, and not all at once but just deney her. know what its like to have full control of the conversation.
