Does anyone remember the time a couple years ago at the thrift store when an orange Trans Am tore ass through the parking lot, got sideways, went over a curb and up a grass hill ending up in the Tim Hortons drive through? IMO V8 rice is just as bad as I4 rice. +1 for the thrift store though.

You really don't wanna go the cheap route. If he's gonna do it, do it right. For the most part, you're going to get what you pay for. I've seen tons of people get cheap kits only to have the manifold end up cracking, shit not fit right, and I've even heard of turbo's cracking into two pieces. Some turbo's that you should consider are the T25, GT28R, or the GT32. What are his power goals? Budget? Is he going to be upgrading any internal engine components? Everybody keeps saying get better wheels, but I don't see a huge problem with the ones he has on there now. Just lower it, boost it, and call it a day.

Interesting. It said that he did it in the early hours so if it were like 3am and there where no one else on the roads then I can kind of see why they threw it out. On the other hand, it's kinda fucked up. If that were anyone of us, we would have been completely fucked.
