Where in this entire thing, or in the news, do you see that the dog that attacked was a Pit?

Yea, plan to upgrade to 2-pc aluminum hat rotors to get weight back to what it was...

Yes, it is back together, as shown last week: http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=117673

Guess this is a good place to show the already mentioned brake upgrade to c6z brakes. Went from 6 total caliper pistons to 20, lol. More importantly cross sectional area increased and diameter increased for more brake torque. Definitely more noticeable braking power. Rear rotor/caliper comparison... http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/zo6ftw/889c0bf6b4d04d0de7ad88454dada5af_zps9183f51d.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/zo6ftw/aa7f411d88ead746683086b071610cf9_zps8831c762.jpg Front caliper comparison (forgot to take a rotor side by side) http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/zo6ftw/91d6ac3890e7462598fa89b25794c1db_zpsd4a36f86.jpg And front shot on the car http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/zo6ftw/4f86bb03ab8589a897a0d1ccfacdf521_zps96562b2d.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/zo6ftw/a3fd076965741f12cede5d0ff1c42ab1_zps28e30781.jpg

Pics and results from the Midwest Musclecar Challenge

thanks bud! yea, to say I am happy with the build so far is an understatement. And I do give myself a bit of a pat on the back for being able to drive my car 2-3+ hours to these "street car" events and then drive home. I love the fact that I really can say I have a great "street car", hopefully I can showcase that in the OUSCA events. Though, conflicting with that, i think I will trailer my car for those 7+ hour trips... I would hate if something 'were' to happen, then be stuck with a hefty bill to get my car back home. -
Never shown my collection before... Mostly rifles, several s&w revolvers... Cheap gun is the taurus pt-92 (bedside home defense)... Just about all the rifles have never been fired, other than 4-5 of them and all of those are restored (the ones that needed it that is) http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/8b4272bf5e94716bda8dd65368ce3d35_zpsc8bc51d8.jpg

I fixed the corvette. Yes, Danny was there. Drove his autox c5z AND the Lingenfelter camaro. He won the advanced class road course (top two spots with both cars), he won the 1981 and newer autox (FTD in his c5z, was 2nd in the l28 until 2 other cars passed it.) and was the overall MMC winner... He pretty much dominated all weekend, lol. My lap time was pretty damn slow thanks to traffic, only managed a 1:23, but was enough to bring home the proverbial bacon. -
So, I had an awesome weekend at the MMC this year. Friday at Putnam park was cold, but dry. I ran in the Novice class, thinking I would be the slower guy and in the way.. Ended up the opposite. I was by far the fastest guy in the class, with another RAFT build 5th gen Camaro being the closest competition 2 seconds behin me, the rest several more seconds slower. I would have been the 2nd fastest in the intermediate class, and about middle of the pack in Advanced. Worst part of being in the novice class was only getting 1 MAYBE 2 clean laps in per session as I kept getting held up in traffic. Though the clean laps was enough to also win the Top Speed Challenge for the day. (They had a speed gun 3/4 of the way down the front straight, watching for fastest MPH) Saturday was the autocross, which was held on the concrete Tarmac at Terra Haute airport. I started out well in the morning, in 5th place in the 1981 and newer class, but fell back in the afternoon to miss out on the top 10 to go into the shoot out. Still had a blast. The funniest part was spinning out 180 degrees right before the finish line... So what did I do? Threw it in reverse while still rolling and finished hard on the gas in reverses. The crowd ate it up, lol. On to a few pics taken of my car... http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/d03a2da7e06083435ce4592d1b11f561_zpsefe0863a.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/d48f7d5908465191103f32aec19cfcdf_zps8b8d94d8.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/117f69d26f3d14612d709acb5b94c13f_zps0a7bf5ed.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/19808b08d78a30aa5144743a3506c484_zpsac4d7bff.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/58e7be3c742d91846e7a88225d669cbf_zpsd923f96b.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/22c6d7dcc8daa4db7895fe71b38bad44_zps4fc5fc7c.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/b1a60c9d74ac03dd0cdbeebda6d03fdc_zpsf0076866.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/6b4e66c2beed0521336ce1fa0504bdae_zps50c93f6b.jpg

I'd be totally pissed that the value of my pride and joy went up exponentially...

No, you guys are wrong! It's clearly an evil robot pretending to be a car...

So one of my corvette bros bought a c6z from Coughlin, and had a nightmare with it (modified 06 with a blower).... Coughlin ended up buying the car back, but are seeminlgy trying to sell it... just thought I would pass this along... (not to mention the outrageous price tag, lol) "Looks like they are trying to sucker someone and cut their loses on my old car. An 06 that's blown up twice and they put a used 06 motor in it and are trying to get $50k out of it. My laugh for the day lol" "First time was the ringland on piston #5 went 5 days after I bought the car. 2nd time the dealership decided to cheap out and cut corners on rebuilding my motor by putting 7 of my old pistons and rods and crank into a new block without machining, align boring and honing, or anything. Also, they used a head place that has never worked with LS7 heads before. A hole about the size of grapefruit was blown through the block at cylinder #1 where the piston grenaded. The service manager that was in charge at that time thought it'd be smart to drive the car around the block to see if he could figure out what was wrong. Lost all my parts and everything." " it had an Edelbrock EForce on it the first time it blew at 11k miles. The first issue was mostly due to a hose being hooked up wrong on the blower when I got the car and under boost it would suck the oil out of the sump tank. They warrantied that issue and tried to apparently fix it but fat fingered it all." I know, right? Apparently he hurt the 2nd motor too... http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-forced-induction-nitrous/3375065-403ci-upp-c6-wont-make-power-help.html

when I was a younger engineer... meetings like this all the time... Especially at Ford... As I work my way up and have reputation... most meetings just nod their head and agree to follow... the tough/dramatic meetings now are when there is a disagreement between engineers on what is 'right'... lol And then the meetings when my boss's boss and I dont agree (both fairly 'dominant/execute' personalities)... You would think it would be really bad to get in yelling arguments with your boss's boss... but in reality we both have a lot of respect for each other (I think) and get along well when we are not disagreeing, lol

Yea, you're right! I will be competing in the Musclecar Challenge. No plans for the Sunday track day.
