  2. These seem fitting for you and or any associates of yours... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mini-Cooper-ROMERO-BRITTO-ARTWORK-CAR-ART-AERO-KIT-MILES-522-11-MANUAL-6-SPEED-1-6L-I4-CONVERTIBLE-/380849055028?forcerrptr=true&hash=item58ac5f6534&item=380849055028&pt=US_Cars_Trucks http://www.ebay.com/itm/Smart-2-DOOR-2008-SPECIAL-ORDER-PINK-SMART-CAR-LESS-THAN-6-500-MILES-A-TRUE-GIRLY-CAR-/141201419389?forcerrptr=true&hash=item20e042ac7d&item=141201419389&pt=US_Cars_Trucks http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hummer-H2-Anthony-Carter-s-Anthony-Carter-s-Lime-Green-2003-Hummer-H2-For-Sale-Over-The-Top-BIG-/111283370074?forcerrptr=true&hash=item19e901785a&item=111283370074&pt=US_Cars_Trucks
  3. Eat shit, ricer. http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/Monday.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/Monday.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c318/Juicedh22/Monday.jpg
  4. Holding my affection for corvettes aside, there are SEVERAL cars I would love owning at that price point. But the very first one that comes to mind is a factory five GTM... BTW, just stop the bullshit and buy the ctsv I linked to you and be done with it.
  5. Here is the car to buy. A good friend came very close to buying this car on Friday, but chose another 2012 he had also been looking at instead. http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?zip=45215&endYear=2015&modelCode1=CTS&sortBy=derivedpriceASC&showcaseOwnerId=0&startYear=2008&makeCode1=CAD&engineCodes=8CLDR&engineCode=8CLDR&searchRadius=500&bodyStyleCodes=SEDAN&mmt=%5BCAD%5BCTS%5B%5D%5D%5B%5D%5D&listingId=352287558&Log=0
  6. Like I said, I dont think it was you. Every long distance dealer I have ever dealt with, seemed to give zero fucks. I dont know if they have less incentive, if they just blow off the deal as unlikely, or what... but even the car I actually bought from california and had shipped, i might as well have made the deal with a robot the guy was so apathetic.
  7. Ford is still a partial owner of Aston Martin and manufactures their v8 and v12 engines, so I am okay with that.
  8. that sounds typical. Every long distance dealership deal i have been a part of, the dealer didnt show much interest in 'sealing a deal' or even anywhere close to the aggressiveness you get in person. I think they just must rarely get a lot of sales/incentives from sight-unseen offers.
  9. srsly??? thats weird. I mean, the report said no smell, but some dog hair "not a lot"... what does that specifically mean? A bit of dog hair in the seat? That could have easily been transferred from someone else's clothes during a test drive... Or maybe one time the guy helped someone or transported the dog and some dog hair was left. as thorough as this inspector seemed to have been, I highly doubt it was a case where a dog was regularly in the car, because the 'non-simple' clean places would have shown significant evidence. Dealers tend to not do a thorough job of cleaning under seats, under plastics, etc... And it seems like the inspector used a fine tooth comb and found 'some' dog hair but "not a lot".... Oh well, at the end of the day it is your money and time, and i am sure you will find another for the same/better deal. Its not exactly a super rare car that is hard to find. And in reality you may come to your senses and get a BA CTS-V... because 'Murica. (and a simple pulley swap and bolt-ons will make it roast ricer assholes as well)
  10. Rfactor2 is not old... But not sure if it has the tracks I want yet.
  11. About the only thing on that list that you can use to bargain for price is the scuff marks, and that depends on how bad they are, and MAYBE the fading bra. That being said, I am not suggesting you dont haggle the price, or offer lower, but that all the things you listed are not major. Meaning, you can say "the bra is discolored, and doesnt match, i will need to pay to have it removed (and maybe replaced), and the scuffs need to be removed (if they are bad and dont just come out)" etc... but I never put a lot of time into the reasons 'why' my offer is what it is, just that 'here is my offer'. In short, I am with Jones, there is nothing there that would make me hesitate to buy, or any big thing that would make me offer any lower than I planned to if I didnt know that.
  12. Will one perform better than the other (APU vs CPU)? Is there a cost difference? I think what I have heard you say is an APU is more what I want? Can you expand?
  13. So, you're speaking greek to me. Whats the difference between a CPU and an APU? and WTF is Kaveri? (hitting up google as soon as I send this message) My plan at MC was to take the system requirements, as well as your suggested PCs in a "can you offer the same type of package at the same/less cost?" type conversation?
  14. Thanks guys! I appreciate the help! I will probably go to micro enter first (since they are literally 5 mins from my office, and see how that price compares. If that doesn't work out, I will go with one of your suggestions. Thanks again! Oh, and yes I know I still need keyboard/mouse (have several of those), monitor (using screen for driving simulator), and an OS.
  15. And if being a ricer is your thing, get a 240 or something... But to do the "my car deserves better tires to make it fair because it sucks otherwise" is dumb... That's like me saying, you have to add 500-1000 lbs to your car to make it fair because it's lighter...
  16. I am wanting a PC capable of smoothly running rfactor/rfactor2... Below are the recommendations/requirements... I don't know shit about comparing things like graphics cards, etc... Catch is I don't want to spend more than $400-500 if possible. So was hoping the resident computer literate could help me... The cheaper the better... I like blowing money on car parts, not games... Rfactor2: Runs Best With - 3.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo or 3.0 GHz AMD Athlon II x2 or better - 4GB RAM or more - nVidia 250 GTS or ATI/AMD 4870 or better - 512MB Video Memory or more - Microsoft Windows Vista 64bit, Windows 7 64bit - DirectX 9.0c (included with installer) - 2008 C++ SP1 Runtimes (included with installer) - 4GB Hard Drive Space or more - Internet Connection - Steering wheel and pedals System Requirements - 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 or 2.4 GHz AMD Athlon x2 - 2GB RAM - nVidia 8600 GT or ATI/AMD 3850 - 256MB Video Memory - Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7 - DirectX 9.0c (included with installer) - 2008 C++ SP1 Runtimes (included with installer) - 4GB Hard Drive Space - Internet Connection Rfactor Runs Best With - Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 processor - PC Windows XP - 2048 MB RAM - Geforce 7900 GT or Radeon X1900 GT - 256 MB video RAM - DirectX 9.0c - 2.0 GB of hard drive space for installation - Internet connection required for system activation, enabled network adapter required for gameplay System Requirements - 1.4 GHz processor - PC Windows 98 SE, ME, 2000, XP, XP 64-bit, Vista, 7 (will NOT run in Windows 95 or Windows 98 first edition) - 512 MB RAM - Geforce4 4200 or Radeon 9200 - 128 MB video RAM - DirectX 9.0c - 2.0 GB of hard drive space for installation - Internet connection required for system activation, enabled network adapter required for gameplay
  17. Maybe you shouldn't buy a ricer platform not meant for racing? Instead of blaming the "drivetrain"
  18. A good friend of mine had a modified C63 (headers + intake + tune) and that thing was AMAZING. It sounded wicked, was stupid fast for a sedan, and looked great... He ran low 11s on an unprepped track with his custom drag pack. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7098/7375978094_8c1fee2301_b.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7089/7200341350_411062e4e6_b.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8001/7200291110_c204a096a2_b.jpg http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5093/5567793255_f0f319d95c_b.jpg http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5187/5569915179_75d1ec5747_b.jpg Here was the dyno with just long tubes, k&n filter, and a tune... http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n63/h22atch/1324185418.jpg I was seriously considering getting a c63 amg after being in his... I love the car.
  19. Wait! I see the ploy in the rules! "Nhrdo license require[d]"... So this is a way to up the number of this "license"... A license that I am pretty sure most major tracks don't like/respect because it doesn't match NHRA rules... I think the track inspector said "yea, that's not a real license"... .... Just stirring the pot... But I do find it funny.
  20. lololol I am pretty sure they did a copy paste job from Thursday/Friday night lightz on the rules too, hahaha. (And I'm not saying you have the same rules, or chose the same, but they listed literally in the same order, with the same wording; ie copy/paste, lol) Again, I'm all about spreading the event around, but at least show some effort in originality, lol
  21. That doesnt sound like a rip-off from "Thursday Night Lightz" which turned into "Friday Night Lightz". Im well aware a money making event as Zerolift had success with is bound to catch on, but you would think they would come up with an original name, lol. I do notice the "heavyweight" event is 1/8 mile.... I wonder if they will have the same street-car/class rules drama as TNL/FNL/CSW (Cincy Street Wars)...
  22. Yup, GE pretty much has the navy locked down with the F414. we also lead in helicopters, and marine (ships) The F110 is our biggest most used military engine. What I was more referring to is that the last 2 major jet contracts went to Pratt; the F-20 Raptor and the F-35 Lightning. GE had the alternate engine for the f35, but Pratt successfully lobbied congress to have us pulled to "save money" during the budget crisis and economy problems in 2009, even though in reality the facts showed that over the long run it was cheaper to keep our engine as competition to lower prices... Like I said, Pratt/UTC has a lot of influence in the pentagon and did better lobbying.
