  1. Apparently I rolled through the red light while turning right on red onto Sawmill Rd from Hard Rd. Are there ways to make these go away. From what I've read, non-payment doesn't have any legal ramifications but I could be turned over to collections. I have great credit and don't want to mess it up, so if I have to pay, I'll pay. Anyone have any experience with this?

Going to Detroit next weekend for a work deal at Ren Cen and Milford. We're staying at the Marriott in the Ren Cen and will have some free time in the evenings. I know Detroit can be rough in the wrong areas but was looking for some input on where to avoid and what can be a good time. Going with three guys that I work with but want to avoid getting arrested or mugged.
  6. Put the car on a lift today and had all the exhaust clamps tightened. I think after I had it put on it heated up and some of the clamps loosened up. One thing I did notice is that the drive shaft is within a half inch from the exhaust pipe on the right side of the car. Now thinking the noise I heard may have been the drive shaft nicking the exhaust pipe. Now that the clamps are tightened, the pipe is staying away. Not sure if that's it but all I know is the noise is gone. Also had the tranny and differential serviced. All of the fluid looked good with no metal shavings present so I'm no longer as worried about the transmission being an issue.
  7. So I've noticed a noise that has gradually been getting a little louder over the past 3 trips out in the Ws6. In 2nd gear at WOT, above 4,000 RPM I start to hear a sound coming from under the car that sounds like something rattling. I let off, it goes away. I hit the gas again, it's back. 3rd gear, no sound but I feel a slight hesitation. The hesitation could be all in my head but the sound it definitely there. I'm really hoping I don't have to have the tranny rebuilt. I'm going to drive it to work and have one of the techs look at it. I just hate putting the 88 miles on it necessary to drive it up there. Thanks for any help.
  8. As the title states, I'm looking for the front license plate filler for an 02 Black TA.
  9. Didn't know GM made Mustangs. Oh wait.... how is this happening?
  10. Come in and drive a Regal Turbo. You won't be disappointed.
  11. The president's name in 2001 was and still is Barack Hussein Obama.
  12. Wanna get it cleaned up and will probably shoot some photos. Unfortunately, it's month end and I get to work my day off this week! Will try to get something up on Sunday!
  13. Just signed up right after posting here.
  14. What are the "best" f-body forums out there? I used to be on all of the old Grand Prix forums but that was years ago. If I remember correctly there was a COFBA. Google'd it and saw a lot of old links but nothing newer. Does it still exist? CR is great and all... but it should be..... better :gabe:
  15. Let me know. I'm ordering all of that very soon. How long were you thinking of waiting?
  16. Let my buddy drive it today at lunch and it made him shift 1-4. He kinda freaked not knowing and coming from turbo 4 cars that have no torque. :lolguy:
  17. :megusta: I'm waiting for next year before I do anything hardcore. Sticking to bolt-ons and probably a tune this year. Will probably look at head/cam next year.
  18. So after the exhaust and SFC's what would you guys go with next? I'm thinking air lid, filter and y-pipe.
  19. Truthfully, it's not clean in the sense that it has a lot of little knicks and scratches all over it from sitting in a garage for two years after the owner passed away. It's been treated very well by it's one previous owner but he passed 2 years ago and his widow didn't treat it as well as he did. Didn't beat on it, she just didn't keep it up as well it should be. It also has the typical roof panel bubbling behind the t-tops. For about $10,000 though, I can't complain much at all.

  21. Just added them to my shopping list at Jegs.
  22. Finally pulled the trigger after months of talking about it and years of wanting to. Picked up a Black/black 2002 WS6 w/ t-tops, 6 speed and Monsoon. Signing the paperwork today and already ordered a Magnaflow exhaust and some new speakers for backseat and front doors (2 were blown). Needs some TLC on the paint (no body damage) and will be putting all synthetic fluid in the tranny and differential :fuckyeah:
  23. Ok. So here is the update. We took in an 02 WS6 at work today. Black/black, 6 speed, 68k miles. It's been sitting in a garage for almost two years due to the owner passing so it needs some TLC (light scratches, de-lamination of the paint on the b-pillars, all fluids flushed, pads and rotors). I'm going to have one of the techs go through it tomorrow and if all goes well I plan on buying it. Car is a blast to drive and love the way it looks. Been over 8 years since I've had a fun car. I'm getting excited!
  24. All wrong. 3rd row was standard in all variants of the Tahoe/Suburban and Yukon/Yukon XL unless it was a base base model or a police edition. Jason, send me your wish list and I'll keep an eye out for you. There is 0% on the new Yukons right now. That usually brings all the people with older ones out of the wood work to buy new and we get some really nice trades. Anyone that can afford to spend $50-60k on a new one typically takes pretty good care of their old one irregardless of the age.
