lol Let the bidding begin. I aint scared

Ok folks I've decided to sell a toy of mine, I need to thin out the herd a little and I just want to go a different direction than this car. It's a 86 Nissan 200SX with the 1.8 Turbo motor. Around 120,000 miles on it, new alternator, new clutch and pressure plate, new tires, new brakes front and rear, new front brake calipers, new timing belt, new plugs, wires, cap and rotor A/C still works, cruise control works, new exhaust but has a small leak until it warms up. Starts right up every time, doesn't burn oil, consistently gets 30 mpg seats are in great shape, this last summer the vinyl fell off of the rear seat trim pieces and the piece that goes across the roof between the headliner and the hatch. A few small rust spots but no rust through and I spray fluid film on it in the winter to keep the rust at bay. It's really a great little car, I just want something else. I'm asking $2500 negotiable and I've got the title in hand.

It's working for now well it's working as well as it ever does, just trying to make it through this winter and hopefully I'll be able to get a new furnace this summer
-
Yep still there but I won't be home until close to 7 tonight
-
Ugh welcome to my world, my furnace likes to randomly just not work until I fiddle with a few things then its good to go until the next time it decides to just not fire up. Yesterday I watched it fire up the pilot light then the burner came on for about 10 seconds then poof it just shut off. I wish I lived in a cabin with just a wood burning stove sometimes. lol

Congrats on the change. Funny I'm doing almost the same thing at the same time, after 21 years of wrenching on planes I've accepted an office position working with plans and scheduling. Going to be a huge difference not getting dirty every day but I'm hoping it will be a much needed change of pace.

You also have to remember that the fuel does not pass down between the screws it goes around the outside.

I got you all beat, a girlfriend of mine was riding her motorcycle one day and as she passed a car she saw that the guy had a laptop on his center counsel playing a porn movie while he was jerking off. This was on 275 down in Cincinnati. Lol

$1500 holy crap that a deal to good to pass up.

Hell yeah I'd rock it but I'm a little fucked up like that. Three are a lot of 80's era cars that could be pretty cool with a little bit of work and cleaning up. Hell I'd still love to find a 78 cordoba like my dad had when I was a kid. Nothing like floating down the road at 80 mph in perfect comfort, and don't get me started on the cushy couch like interiors of the day.

I know one thing, they sound real good. I was at the Petty museum earlier this summer with my boy and one of the workers took some people out for a ride in one of these mustangs. He got in to it pretty good and ripped through 5 gears pretty quick BUT I would still rather have this beauty that was parked back in the garage area:

To bad Lee Iacocca paid the government back what they received. In fact in Lee's book he said when he handed Reagan the check to pay them back the government didnt know what to do with it, it had been so long since they had actually been on the receiving end. lol

Outstanding. You should check out "Vintage truck" magazine, they are based out of Yellow Springs OH and have lots of good articles on old vintage trucks like this

My tip for good pics there is to buy the book in the museum gift store that has pictures of all the planes in the museum. Between the lighting and the crowds unless you want pics of something specific it's just not worth it. But it is an awesome place to visit and I take my boy there several times a year

Gutless twin stick colt? He wasn't driving it right. I drove the heck out of mine, it was indestructible and as reliable as a swiss watch. I couldn't get the thing to stop running. I'd buy one in a second if I could find one still in one piece. Between my father and I we had 3 of the things. The only thing that really sucked on the car was the defrost. You basically had the bottom 2 1/2- 3" of the windshield to look out of. lol

Let me just throw this out there because it's been bothering me for a while and nobody seems to notice this or if they do they don't bring it up. It's not just the "news" media that is the problem here its also (as I see it) TV and movies. Think about it, if you aren't raised by a responsible gun owning family your only real exposure to guns is through TV and movies. What do people do with guns in TV and movies? They kill things, that's it. Other than "Top Shot" when was the last time you saw someone in the movies or on TV use a gun in a responsible manner to go target shooting or skeet shooting? It just doesn't happen. So that means that to many of the far left anti gun people the only reason you would own a gun is to kill someone or something. The really have no idea that millions of gun owners didn't harm a soul and probably genuinely think that if you own a gun you are sitting at home surrounded by loaded firearms, peaking through your blinds poised to shoot the first innocent little child that accidentally bounces their ball into your yard. Paranoid of everything and willing to shoot the slightest provocation. Just my 2 cents and with inflation it's probably not worth anything near that anymore.

Do you have any Nylint stuff? I might be interested in picking them up if you do. They are the only toys I've found that can withstand my son. lol

Is that what the kids are calling it these days? I always thought it was the brown or stink eye now it's the ban button what will they think of next. lol

It's a fun bike, comfortable, fast enough to get me in trouble, handles decent or what it is. On the one hand I would like to make some more power but n the other hand I know it's plenty fast enough for what I'm going to do with it.

Here's a pic of my ZRX: http://harvysplace.smugmug.com/Motorcycle/i-hRwSzZV/0/L/20150401_194802-L.jpg

I just picked up a 2000 ZRX1100 a few months ago. So far I really like it.

For $1500 it ought to repel dirt and bugs like opposite pols of a magnet.
-
Well you could be spending $1500 for this: http://www.chemicalguys.com/SearchResults.asp?Search=kore&Click=101795&utm_source=Email&utm_medium=ConstantContact&utm_campaign=main_050815KORE I dont know what the deal with this box is but they make it sound like it can end world hunger, homelessness, and unemployment with its aerospace aluminium and pre treated stainless steel screws. lol

And one picture. That's probably the only picture they could take that wouldn't absolutely terrify someone.
