  1. let us know how it goes. I have an orginal 60 that im always scared will die.

    I used:

    http://expertps3repairs.com/

He fixed it in front of me in like 15 minutes. Basically there is a metal shield of sorts that "protects" the DVD/CD. It had a huge dent. Perhaps my nephew stepped on it, or hit it, or set something heavy on it.

    Not sure.

He installed a spare metal piece and I was good to go......

He did appear to have a faulty surge protector or power issue. He said he needed to replace it. At first I was worried as my PS3 rebooted for no reason while I was there......

  2. Does anyone recommend a shop to do a PS3 console repair?

It appears to be an issue with the DVD drive, not YLOD. Disk won't pull in or out. I am thinking it just needs the gears reset, but I really don't know. I think he jammed 2 disks in.

It is the slim model Cech-3001A . Disks won't pull in, but hear the gears kind of loud.

I watched a bunch of youtube videos and read things online, but I don't think I will have the time. I have the T8 security bit and almost have it apart. I leave for NYC tomorrow though....

Before I go to one of these places randomly, thought I would post here. Prefer dublin / lewis center / Worthington area. I know one shop in hilliard is on vacation this week.

The haven place didnt answer. expert ps3 did. He said flat 40 and worst case flat 80. He said he can do while I wait, planning on giving that a shot unless someone responds. :)

  3. Finally landed my buddy a job here at NW. Now he needs some reliable transportation from Heath to downtown. I found him a carpool for now, but he definately wants his own vehicle.

I think he will be scoping out JD byrider or something like that soon, and I just thought about posting here.

He'd love to find a pickup with a 4 cyl or at most a V6. He would prefer a manual transmission, but auto not a deal breaker.

    2wd OK.

    Thanks!

    Mike

  4. I got a couple sixers of hopslam and 1 six of ithica flower power at aficionado's in Lewis center near drug mart. Now to find it on tap near Lewis center.

Thank you for the Reddit post! Never used that site really.

  5. While I am primarily a PC gamer, I want to be able to use my keyboard and mouse on a PS3. I've seen various reviews and forum posts. I'd like to actually try one out if someone has one locally. A new model, the XIM Edge, is out, and that seems to be the best one now.

I've been FPS gaming since Quake or even earlier. I will never be as good on those darn PS3 controllers.

Does anyone around here use something like a XIM or Eagle Eye on their PS3 / Xbox360?

  6. What's in the bag?

Bag - Generic bag I got off craigslist for $5

    Driver(s) - Callaway FT-3 (1)

    Wood - Callaway FT-3 (3)

Irons / Wedges - Ping Zing 2 (2-LW) (also have a set of Ping Zing irons)

Putter - Ping Anser 2 BeCu (Need cover if someone has one that fits!)

Balls - Whatever I find on the course!

I just started last year. I started as a sub in the Nationwide League at Foxfire Player's Club. This year I am a sub for Foxfire Player's Club and Golf Club of Dublin. I've played a few other places like Safari, Mentel Memorial, and the Wilson Rd course.

Right now my goal is to get rid of my huge slice when I drive. I got 3 lessons for father's day. I really need to work on everything though!

If anyone wants to meet up to play or hit a driving range let me know. I live in Grove City, but inside of 270.
