  1. The seller took the car to the dealer for one last total check-up etc as teh CPO does not transfer to me.

The camshaft warranty does transfer though....

Should I have any concerns over this? This is good right?

"Just an FYI, the dealer just replaced the hpfp and the cam follower today. The service advisor said that the original follower was actually in good shape (so it did not punch a hole into the follower) but there was an internal failure with the actual hpfp so they replaced that, and while at it, they replaced the follower as well. Car is pretty much set, it runs like a champ! "

  2. Pcv valve, diverter valve, cam follower, spark plugs, fuel filter, brake fluid

    -driver side window regulator replaced

-AC blows cold and no signs of any issues.

-pvc valve and flapper were recently replaced under some sort of recall

-diverter valve he upgraded to the B8 piston style (what's this mean????)

-cam followers are fine and covered under 10 year/120k mile warranty

    -spark plugs recently replaced

    -brake fluid recently replaced

hmmm i forgot about the fuel filter, which service is that usually changed under? He has full records and all maint up to date.

  3. Yes, largest car you will find around locally is 2gb, if you can find them.

I had to order from newegg twice to get non sdhc.

Once you get it, you can add an AUX in pretty easily. I did and love it for Pandora/ MP3 via the phone.

Looks like newegg is OOS of 4gb transend SD? any other source?

So can I pair with the factory bluetooth to play mp3s?

what do you recommend I purchase to get the aux input long term?

  4. thanks!

This car has the nav plus bluetooth.

I want to listen to mp3s on my 10 hour drive home.

What is my best option since it appears there is not a input jack?

It appears I can get a non SDHC SD card in 2GB (or 4GB if I can find one).

Can a pair my android phone via bluetooth and play mp3s through it that way?

Any other ideas appreciated! Long term and short term for the immediate drive home.

    Thanks!

  5. OK he offered it for $13,900

    Wife said YES!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now what all do I need to do to buy this thing out of state?

Any thing else I should do?

how much is sales tax etc going to be?

EDIT: The CPO cannot be transferred, bummer.

"I have all keys, all service records from when the car was new, and it's still CPO'ed until 2/17/12 (although unfortunately CPO does not transfer to a new owner, but we can do one last check of the car at an audi dealer and have them do a full inspection for your peace of mind).

As for the airport, LGA is closest to me, about a 25 minute drive from my house. I can pick you up.

For the chip, GIAC has a handheld flash loader that you connect to the OBDII port, and you can choose either the stock program or the performance program. I have the flash loader and will give it to you.

Please get back to me at your convenience."

I am trying to convince my wife on this one.

I want to offer 14k and see if he takes it. It is CPO under warranty until 2/2012.

OK I talked with this guy today:

It sounds like he may actually consider my $13k offer if he is not getting bites.

WOW! I will hold onto this slight chance of hope for now.

    -2006 46K miles

-OEM 18" titanium package wheels(installed at 22k miles)

    -Koni FSD/Eibach pro kit(installed at 32k miles

    -GIAC-X chip(installed at 19k miles).

  7. I will call that guy and ask about the color issues. Can someone run a carfax? :)

I didn't really want a wagon, but this is very nice with extras ....

  8. That fully loaded 2007 has same miles and more features for 1k less at 14900.

This guy did say one more thing.... "The carfax shows no problems but there is a small blemish in the clearcoat behind the rear door. I suspect it was touched up at some point but all body panels and glass are original so nothing serious."

Is this clearcoat issue fixable without a huge price tag?

  9. My wife wants to get out of town for x-mas this year, partly related to her dad passing away recently.

We are not having much luck finding something this late in the game, we've been focusing on Gatlinburg, TN.

Open to any ideas within about 6 hours of Columbus.

    Here are the details/'requirements':

-Arrive Friday 12/23 for 5 nights

-Depart Wednesday 12/28 (Willing to move this a little, such as 12/24 to 12/29 instead. Maybe be willing to stay a full week if a better deal)

-Targeting to spend $700-1000 total with tax etc for the 5 nights.

-We want standalone cabin, not a hotel room.

    -3 adults and 2 children, 1 baby

    -at least 2 bedrooms

    -Need wifi internet access.

    -Decent Sized hot tub

-nice widescreen HDTV with cable/satellite TV

-game table like pool or air hockey (no cheap 4-in-1 game tables though)

-We have a front wheel drive minivan, not a 4 wheel drive, if that matters.

We had our heart set on this one, but it was already booked:
