  1. I appreciate the response. We really want to stay inside of 270. My brother in law lives in 43228 and my parents just moved out of 43228. I don't mind Columbus with Hilliard schools. I am very familiar with back roads at least :)

Wife works at OSU and I work downtown.

I will look into the deed restrictions. What am I looking out for?

I did see that all of those houses took a big hit on auditor site.

  2. Decided to start looking at houses.

I really want to live inside 270, and no Columbus Public Schools, and no Southwestern City Schools.

I found some decent houses near:

Splitrock Rd / Dublin Rd / Scioto Darby Creek Rd

    in Hilliard City Schools.

Any idea why so many are for sale in this small area?

Perhaps some sort of construction or something else about to happen???

Tried googling without luck. I see there is an open house in the area. May stop by to get the scoop.

  3. ...Also, I understand these motors get surprisingly good mileage, any estimate of what you generally netted?...

What kind of MPG did you see highway?

  4. I think I want to do this fast as possible. I had no intentions of being a landlord, but decided to lease to own my house since it wasn't selling....

Rent is not due until 8/1, but I want to have my game plan going.

I know I will need a 3 day notice come 8/3 if no rent.

Does anyone have a lawyer referral for me that can handle Fairfield County?

    Thanks!

    Mike

  5. I picked up a hidden hitch for our 2008 Toyota Sienna. The install sounds straight forward and the comments say it can be done without moving the exhaust. The only other tip was to "make sure you clean the threads on the nuts as much as possible before trying to install...use WD-40 or some other and try to clean the threads with a tiny wire brush."

    Full video install / info:

It sounds like it will probably take 15-30 minutes.

I don't have a lift or ramps. So I will probably need to take it to your place. It appears easier with two sets of hands. So I will at least be an extra set of hands.

Let me know if you will help me out and how much you money you'd like!

    Thanks!

  6. Wow it looks like I may be all set.

That guy in the ad below in Germantown responded.

He also works downtown Columbus for Nationwide. He had the exact same van too.

He plans to bring it in tomorrow with the hardware and wiring harness.

    Small world.

I started researching these today. Etrailer had some good info. I am looking for a Class III 2 inch. http://www.etrailer.com/hitch-2008_Toyota_Sienna.htm

Ironically, I used to work for uhaul. Does anybody on here work for uhaul???

Please let me know if anyone has the hookup!

I found this OLD ad in Dayton, I just wrote them now, I hope they have it:

    Thanks!

  7. I don't suppose you have one for a 2 inch hitch? :)

That's what we are looking for!

Pics of both the hitch and the trailer are here:

Call me again later and we can discuss further. The trailier probably has 15 miles on it. If that. :o

Bought both when the wife and I were buying everything we had an idea that we "might" use with our first child. :fuckyeah:

Both are in new condition. Digging up receipts now. The Reese Bike rack is from The Anderson's and the trailer from Bike Source. Price them new if you wish. Laugh with me not at me please.

  8. Perhaps one man's worst beer ever tasted is another man's treasure.

I have 3 bottles of Gordon Biersch Hefeweizen unfiltered wheat beer.

    I think this costs around $7 a 6 pack.

I will trade for just about anything except natty light haha.

I just ran out of Yeungling, but I understand if you don't want to trade that. The lager is my favorite!

I am in northern Grove City Gantz Rd / Hardy Parkway Rd / Frank Rd.

    Hit me up!

    Thanks!

  9. OK I am not sure if anyone's been through a similar situation, but I was hoping to get any helpful information around selecting an Assisted Living or Nursing Home in the Columbus area.

Perhaps one where you could start on assisted living, but someday transition to nursing home covered under medicaid.

In general, closest to Hilliard/Grove City would be best.

    EDIT:

This link seems helpful, although average pricing would be nice.

  10. Thanks everyone!

Sully: I spoke with one of Browning's partners, Richard Meyer. He sent me his intake sheet, and his credentials (like Brownings) are impressive.

Is anyone comfortable advising of the costs paid (or will pay)?

I have one quote from a lawyer for $1000.

Meyer quoted $2500 flat fee, I am really curious what Brownings was if you will share.

I have an appointment next week for a free consultation with a 3rd lawyer contact near el vaquero on riverside dr too....

    mr randall http://www.krc-law.com/

I've heard its not a good idea to skimp out and get a cheap lawyer, but we cannot afford to get ripped off either.

Dang why did I not do the prepaid legal plan at nationwide annual enrollment!!!

    Thanks!
